Ok, if you use then you just have to repeat the shift holding procedure, but i understand it takes time that is precious in that game. |

2 shermans are more than enough but the more you have the better, if you have sth else like at gun, shreck, zooks, pack howitzer and so on, add it to the attack. Remember that once flak hq aims at a target it cannot change it so if you go with shermans first and then at guns, zooks, infantry, stuart, whatever you have and is squishy you can move around freely as long as your sherman is showing frontal armour to the flak hq. It's best to be done when enemy sends his shreck blob to harras your fuel or munitions as you will be able to kill the truck before he comes back even with 2 shermans. If you can see him coming you can use whatever arty ability your doctrine has to keep it away from shermans (only airborn has no anti infantry artilery) and if it's impossible to kill just back of, repair shermans and attack again. If your attacks are constant he will loose ability to harass your territory becouse of constant need to defend. |

If you look at the target size of all USF armor its abnormally large for its class. Sherman larger then T34, Stuart then T70, Jackson the size of a T34/85/Panther etc etc.

The zook gets 1.29 buff at Vet 3 Rifles and Shrek gets 1.6 more or less at Vet 5.
So at far its .04 which means 47.5%? Chance to directly hit and someone smarter then me can explain how Scatter can still make a miss a hit cause I am not so smart.

Target size of usf vehicles is historically justified. I mean large target size was a primary feature (and a disadvantage of course) of all us vehicle at the time. This was because of large, vertical engines used in their tanks. Simply sherman or m3/5 with small size is like IS-2 with small gun and no armour, as unrealistic as possible. Ofc I'm not saying the game is or should be realistic but it should keep at least minimum levels of realism. |

It happens only first time you use shift after alt-tabbing or showing overlay, the easy way to cope with this issue without blocking overlay is to hit and hold shift button at the very beginning of the game, just after issuing first orders. The overlay will show up and hide itself, then you can unhold your shift and use it normally till the end of the match, it never shows up twice. (As long as you don't use overlay during game but who does that?). Just remember not to issue shift orders during that first "overlay shift" as game doesn't record it's pressed then. |
Ralic made Rifles best opening infantry for some reason. But later, because of upgrades, Grens will become more powerful, unless double 1919.
I dont deny cap powier in first few mins. I said about number of squads which in fact is equal. Rifles arrive faster than Grens, but about 4min you will have same number of units.
And you are wrong. Second rifles squad hits the field at 0:58. Second Grens squad at 1:03. So it's just 5secs when USF player has one squad more not like you said that USF player has 2 squads by the time your first grens squad hits the field.
But lets be clear. OST struggles vs USF and tech is broken.
You're right concerning T1, the problem begins when you start to tech T2 (and you need to in order to fight 222 and get LMGs). You pay 200 manpower for battlephase, and then another 120 for the building, also having pios retreated to the base. At the same time USF player pays 200 manpower to get liut who basically is rifle squad that normally costs 280 manpower with additional 60 muni upgrade. Then usf is really ahead. |
I never experienced any issues with it but the truth is that queuing capping orders for more than 2 points is just stupid because you have to click on the flag itself (if you do not the order is treated as move order and units don't wait to cap) so units clumb up around it making them super easy to wipe with rifle nades, tanks or mortars.
Lately I use it almost only on semoisky or in 3v3 and 4v4. |
Stuart could get a kind of anti ober accurancy buff just like the puma had against rangers in coh1. That wouldn't make it overpowered but it would create a unit that is desirable on battlefield.
As for current usage you can use mechanised commander to send it back after it's window of opportunity getting 75% of resources invested. Ofc it is mostly viable vs heavy okw t2, luchs rush or good micro on 222. |
Btw, lets not break the day of members that have ballance forums locked with ballance discussion. Maybe some thread there to discuss expectations concerning ballance in incoming patch? |

I swear one of these days I will walk into these forums only to find someone honestly complaining how Obersoldaten are underpowered and need a buff.
It's not that they are bad, it's just the IS-2 that is ridiculously strong. |
