If you really believe radio intercept is the reason why you're loosing, then you're up for a big surprise. Its not and you probably would loose anyway.
Take your soviet apparatchik bullshit somewhere else kaitof, if you don't think that being able to pre-empt the opponent's strategy at the very beginning of the game is a significant advantage then your ignorance truly knows no bounds. |
I think I'm done with 1v1 for a while after seeing this commander, the rest doesn't bother me as much as the radio intercept does. All of them put together though makes the doctrine seem designed for trolling German players. |
Ram has always been a ridiculously binary ability that doesn't create any strategic depth or fun for the game. I remembered this was this one game where I rammed a Tiger Ace and failed three times in a row. I also remember this other game where my Tiger got immobolized (as in cannot move) on the enemy's first try. It's just too much RNG.
It's clearly an "Enemy at the Gates Mode" for the T-34 and doesn't belong in any game that calls itself a strategy game.
Completely agree. |
-German Mines still need work, removing the signs would be good, reducing the damage and cost of the teller mines would also be useful
-The Stug is almost entirely useless
-Ram should just stun a crew, especially when its against Tigers
-Squad wipes for Ostheer are too much, if it can't be fixed then reduce the manpower cost for squads.
- German Doctrines are almost all 'meh' whereas the soviets have a far better selection to choose from.
The fundamental design problem with the germans is there is very little tactical flexibility, the soviets can come at the game in so many different ways.

Ram is not a winning ability, that ability trolls the rammer as much as the rammee. If anything, Ram needs to be removed, too much RNG at work.
Not when the rammee is a tiger and the rammer is a tin can with an engine. |
-Soviets get cheap game winning mines
-Soviets get free game winning Ram ability
-SU-85 is slightly more expensive than the Stug and is several times more useful |
I got dropped again and lost. The net connection was fine again, this never happened prior to the battle servers. |
Isn't it 5cp? I don't think I've ever killed a scout car with the Stug, I've just used it for anti-infantry blobs.
Edit: Razh originally said it was '3cp' and used for killing scout cars. He added the 5cp and the T-70/Half Track in an edit. I still think my point stands, people don't get stugs to counter scout cars or half tracks and at 5cp you would expect to be saving fuel for a Panzer IV so it's not an ideal time to build a stug to counter a T-70. It's an infantry killer thats too weak to stand up at that stage of the game, a command tank does the same job but adds a little more utility and a great deal more survivability. |
Get rid of it entirely and replace it with the command tank. It fills a similar role and would give the doctrine more use. |
I was the Soviet player :/
Ah, well good job then!
I like Ass-Grens but they only work on certain maps and against certain doctrines. You also have to be very aggressive with them which is something a lot of German players with an MG-opening mentality, including myself, struggle with. |
