As soon as it was made non doctrinal it was my jam, I have had both fuels and even then I have never had the freedom to chase down a single unit into enemy territory. A fresh pIV doesn't have blitz and wont get it fast enough to utilize before something hits it and it gets swarmed by piats. Its just not cheap enough to have that sort of window unless you are not scouting for a flak hq on purpose. |

I personally am a huge fan of a surprise 17lber in 1v1 where you put it down right around the time they think their pziv is invincible. Gotta put it in a good spot though.
Usually if you do it right it's a medium tank kill and zones him out on half the map.

Does PAnzer II comes to early? - Yes at least slightly, but I think this will change once they will introduce side tech options for OKW, that will make a direct Panzer II tech a lot more risky for OKW player.
Does soviet has a problem with it? - No, its more like the Panzer II forces you into a build or commander choice. Btw. did you tried Soviet Reserve Army? It is one of the standard commanders and I think it works nicely. Backdraw: You are sacrifing doctrinal tanks like T34/85 and any kind of elite infantry. On the other side AT-Partisans are solving your issues with early Panzer II + PPSH upgrade and Rapid Conscription makes up a little bit for missing elite infantry + Vehicle Repair and ML-20 coming in handy in long term.
I personally feel fast Panzer II is much more of a problem for brits. It really forces you to go for an AEC, if you haven't it when the Panzer II shows up you are pretty fucked. One 6pdr as the most expensive AT-Gun is easily circled while british infantry do not have a non-doctrinal snare and you will never hit a fast moving luchs with piats unless your opponent fails with vehicle movement.

I personally like the theater of war settings and love getting rolf stomped by t34s when my tanks have short 75mm. Would it be feasible to add them to that sort of a scenario? A few powers had comparable stuff during that period they just hadn't mobilized. |

Now that they made the t3485 come from mechanized they should just swap the 85 and 76. Drop the cp cost and soviets have a stop gap like the puma between buildings for when you just need something right now rather than later. |

I think the easiest definition wont be size but tactics, when you can see that your opponent has just selected all and a moved everything in a direction with no micro involved its a good indicator. |

IMO only fckin faction i havent seen blobing is UKF (and there i rembered heavy enginer blob, but thats different story). If one has problems with blobs... then make some mgs and demos. (or better still rocket artilery) One does not counter blobs with infrantry (if it does... blob wars ;D )
Recently jumped back into the game for a bit, got massacred by double bren is with vickers behind. Everyone blobs, now and then relic will give everyone something anti blob then after everyone has worked out strats to avoid it the unit gets nerfed. CalliOP getting a nerf soon, but everyone has already learned how to counter it so its going to get an overnerf. Such fun times! |
