Abandoning is probably a bit extreme but some form of stun/equipment damage might be nice to at least make it somewhat of a risk to close approach infantry.
Would it actually be wise to introduce side teching into okw trucks, they will probably then have a more reduced price without thier "upgrades" and so we shall start seeing KTs getting rushed ridiculously in team games when one player can put all his trucks in base while carried then come out with a "5 min" kt or other such balls.
And proposing that there wont be a price drop will mean they will somehow have to work all of those potential costs in munitions only or with fuel at a stretch since okw only starts floating mp later in games to potentially have a cost on that resource....
Here is a goof ball thought I had, what if Germany had waited. As in not started expanding till the late 40s or even 50s undoubtedly Germans where and are more friendly to the west than the east. When Russia and Japans expansionist tenancies reached a peak they could have come in on a more allied footing and hey after the fighting lets just leave a few "peacekeepers" in the more eastern countries and hey didn't we just prove how nice we are and how those restrictions after ww1 were excessive!
All new commanders in every faction is pay to win since they haven't been hit by the nerf batton yet. That said I think the hetzer for okw came out weaker since it just missed the flame weapon happy time so got hit by that global nerf before it was released. But thats just conjecture on my part since I didn't buy that commander
I would argue that the game is always balanced with the top players in mind since when relic points out a strat or unit to use they point out how those players use them. Heck every time a new unit is introduced its op and its assumed that everyone will learn to play to compensate. Any time there is a calliOP just get a tank to flank it and its np that its wiping squads left right and center.
We all need our safe space! Only way allowable to attack units in base should be vehicles with crush, Tanks with good aoe ai capabilities. No players must not look at the enemy teams doctrines and plan accordingly that would be difficult, battles must go one way and one way only!
Thinking about faust on volks and yeah raketen isn't going to cut it with its range and fire arc, so whats the alternative- give okw a pak40 or take away the setup time on raketen, I strongly doubt any of those options will work and allies are dreaming if they think raketen is as durable as the other at guns.
Smoke and flank, once 2 models are down mg34 has to retreat or risk losing it. Maxims have 6 men and if you want to start arguing about 50cal then explain the whole decrewing for higher popcap for americans. Come to that pak howi clears them nice and quick. Okw is poorly made, mg being doctrinal and shrek being overly essential.
I would love for the mg34 to not be doctrinal but relic has not changed it yet so it looks like it will stay as it it no matter what. I would love for shreks to be off volks but I have yet to see a good suggestion that would work and not be over powered or useless At infantry of less than 5 models is just too easy to wipe.
But since I did read any good suggestions to anything from op I guess its just L2P.
