Stormjäger I’ve gotten to 74 USF in 1s by just blobbing 3 rifles, a ranger, a Cpt, a Rear Echelon and a Major, all with BARs, into the enemy cutoff/retreat path and deleting everything. The strat works perfectly, especially with cover to cover and M4 into CalliOP. Nothing really unexpected here, there are like 10 extremely good players across all factions, 20 more good ones and then above average starts. Top 100 in CoH isn't exactly same level as top 100 in starcraft or warcraft. In: Lobby

You'll gonna have to provide better evidence then "trust me bro" on this one, because, again, stats do not support your claim in the slightest and repeating "its bad" over and over again won't suddenly change that. Going from it to the other MGs and it becomes extremely clear the difference in suppression and lethality. Comparing it to other HMGs you have: -2nd best suppression in game -worst DPS unless you use an ability -BY FAR lowest cost It performs extremely well for its cost, compared to Maxim which can't even pin forward charging squad before it nukes it with nade. Thread: 60 range TD8 Apr 2020, 10:21 AM Jump back to quoted post8 Apr 2020, 10:17 AMSander93 The SU-85 does have slightly better DPM (TTK vs Panther is ~28s from the first shot, disregarding accuracy and penetrations) but it has the obvious weakness of not having a turret against a diving Panther or other vehicles. For what it's worth I think the Firefly is balanced (hits hard but slow reload and mediocre mobility), the SU-85 is mostly balanced (although I think the selfspotting is bad because it goes against the combined arms principle of the game, even if it has a significant drawback) except for its very high penetration, and the Jackson is slightly overperforming on purpose because it's the only real reliable late game AT for USF. Obviously the SU-85's and Jackson's situation isn't ideal but tinkering with them will be very complex and have significant ripple effects, and that's not really something we want to touch at this point. Aaaand /thread As I have said, there comes a time, where "balance" problem becomes "L2P" problem and 60range TDs are the latter now. In: COH2 Balance

And the most sad thing is that this retarded gameplay gets you to rank 5 USF in 2v2. Something should have done about this zero IQ blobbing 7 years ago. From what I can tell... as CLEARLY EVIDENCED, it gets hardcountered pretty easily. So.... what's the problem? Do you hate to win against players who use peasant tactics that easily get countered? If you have tools to counter it and these tools are very effective at doing so, then sorry, nothing needs to be done balance wise, because, again as clearly evidenced - it does not work. In: Lobby

Which is not supported by stats and its actual performance, that is only slightly worse then HMG42 and biggest difference is damage. Both of them suppress in 1-2 bursts, while others need much more.
