But if you're going for panther you should have at the very least 2 paks and possibly shrecks, so its not like that panther would be the only source of AT.
280 of that menpower are assault engies, so its really 240 only.
Its pretty much soviet M3 with slightly better mobility and reinforcment ability.
Other then that, obersoldaten annihilate it, but it was also quite poorly armored IRL for which US troops hated it.
And I find assault engies to be quite potent. Probably slightly overpriced, but definitely potent with their satchels mines and flame thrower that lets them win against most infantry that doesn't have huge ranged DPS.
Test is silly, but it shows again Panthers main weakness, which is obviously not the weak rear armor but the low DPS because of an unusual high reload speed.
Well, it won't reliably bounce these paks and tigers.
It could get little less penetration, but I don't believe its survivability is any issue considering that US have nothing that can take hit and fight anything heavier then light tanks except this single tank.
