It is warned in the description of the critical repair that crew are vulnerable while repairing, so repair it while not in combat. It's similar to the Sturmtiger's reload which crew becomes vulnerable while reloading and you should do it in safety. There is a bug, which when you use the ability, after the ability is finished and you are set to go, each penetrating shot will decrew your vehicle. That's what we are talking about. Jagdpanzers are a far bigger issue to deal with imo. It's easy when you say it like that, but am I forced to go Lt tier? If we could plant mines with REs, that would be better. I don't personally have a big problem with JgPZ, because first, it means that there is no Puma rush and second, once you flank it, it's dead. In: Lobby

I also think it's a silly policy because it's counter-productive (for the reasons stated above), but they're two separate aspects of silliness. Posting something like this doesn't improve Relic's bottom line at all; instead, it gives people another reason to doubt their ability to effectively manage a game and a community. It's a net negative, just like the toxicity post was a net negative. Why post this now instead of waiting until a problem comes up and handling things on a case-by-case basis in the meantime? It doesn't make any sense from any perspective except a strictly legal one, and you've got some serious issues if you're letting your legal team manage your game for you. This. Some studios are confident enough with their games, and let you do what ever the FUCK you want. The best example (although SP) is Bethesda, and guess what? It's free fucking advertisement for them. Look at how social media (facebook, 9gag, etc) promote the game. On the other hand, we have Relic, we have DICE. I think they are not confident with their game. They think that if people have access to core files and can actually make a better game than them, they will lose credibility. As far as I can see with these changes just moving back slighty is all slugger would have to do too remain on top. Perhaps we could have Faustcostbulletin or another modding user test the changes to see the impact? That 60 range is overrated, specially against Axis heavies and the mighty panther. Panthers deflect the first shot, then they close the distance and start chewing your Jackson. In: Lobby

How can we expect relic to do anything when we as a community can't even agree on a single thing in terms of balance? You don't think they are having these exact same arguments? We need to have a united front so that they understand the game is in serious need of alterations. That's not gonna happen. People are either biased, or they have their minds set on something and do not change their opinion. That's why in every single game, you can't make everyone happy. Look at Blizzard's games, or LoL and DoTA. They do their best, and are kinda successful at balancing the game, but there are ALWAYS people who cry, and most of the time, they do have good points. That's why being the lead balance designer is stressful. You have to make important decisions, and try to make MOST of the community happy. Which is challenging, because sometimes when you balance the game for "Average Players", the competitive value of the game drops. Add RNG to all these arguments and you'll get a mess called COH2 balance. Bottom line, we are never gonna unite on something. We can't even agree on something more than 70%, just take a loot at some polls. It's up to relic to decide what to do. In: Lobby

Furthermore this problem is only made worse by the fact OKW have no real counter to units in buildings early on. I say make it so one side of the map is much more open than the other so the Axis have the ability to defend. Imagine Angoville. Here we had the left side of the map completely open whereas the right was more built up with more sight/shot blockers. Also remove Stalingrad from the map pool. I really don't need to explain why. This would actually fix a lot of maps. Half urban, half open fields. In: COH2 Gameplay
