afaik the zis barrage does 160 damage but i don't have anyway to check. if someone can look in the game files i would be interested.
The SU-76 Barrage does 120 while the ZiS barrage does 80. But face value isn't always an accurate picture.
Although the SU-76 has a higher max damage and higher minimum damage and larger area of effect, the ZiS-3 barrage has a superior damage curve resulting in it doing more damage than the SU-76 at all ranges*. The ZiS-3 barrage is also much more accurate, and fires faster. In conclusion, the ZiS-3 barrage is undoubtedly superior to the SU-76 barrage.
*SU-76's max damage is higher, but anything over 80 doesn't matter when firing at infantry. On the opposite end, it does just 2 more damage at the very edges. |
Commandos: a squad where each man has the cloaking capabiltiy of the Ostheer sniper, combined with ultra close range DPS.
For whatever reason, having an ambush "bonus" when attacking from cloak, increasing RoF, accuracy, DPS, god knows what. I had one sneak up on a puma from the front and the enemy got so scared as its health was dropping ridiculously from SMG's, and he smoked away from an AI infantry squad...

Also, you can camp behind any cover and wipe any squad/squads (plural) to win as well. Had a 3v3 where ally told us to stop using them because enemy was crying so bad from the chaos.

The irony is that the real Panzer IV had slightly worse armour than the T-34 and Sherman tanks, it just had better penetration than the T-34 (excluding the T-34/85) or Sherman. |
Im not saying it in programing. Im saying this like option how to make blitzkireg viaable without nerfing it to the ground. If they wantm they can program it ,im sure.
You're not understanding. There isn't "Forward Movement" and "Backwards Movement", there is only "Movement" and that's all the game sees. You can't nerf it in specifically one direction because there aren't any directions, forward and backward movement use the same stat. If a tank has 5 speed, it'll move at 5 speed whether it's going forward or backward. If it hits a mine and slows down to 2 speed, it'll go 2 speed forward and backward. |
My problem is just that the Jumbo and Xylophone are being neglected in favor of nostalgia units from CoH1. These nostalgia units are also appearing in British Forces in the form of Emplacements. |
Pak43 - 500MP, shooting through everything all the time.
17 Pounder - 400MP 75F - can shoot through only with ability + it will be quite easy to deny it when consider it does not shoot through everything + Ostheer Air abilites, Stuka, Sturmtiger, MHT etc.
The key difference is that the Pak 43 can be decrewed easily by anything that can kill a Pak 40 Crew, while the 17 Pounder can only be decrewed in the same way a vehicle is.
until USF gets new hardware to be on par with the axis and when the brits are out on September 3, the answer to your question is no

There's no distinction between Forward or Reverse in the stats, and I doubt they're going to reprogram the entire movement system to include one, so your suggestion is technically impossible. |
