Give it cavalry riflemen instead of poop engineers and 240 hp and id go mech every game
This, Assault Engineers are already used in a different doctrine and are arguably obsolete by the time the M3 comes in, as is the M3 itself. Give the M3 the same durability stats as the Mortar Half-Track as it's logically the same vehicle externally. Then either put (nerfed) Cavalry Riflemen in it or at least the (unused?) 5-man Assault Engineer squad since it's not a 0CP ability like regular AE's. |
When I say skip I mean only building two trucks (mech/BHQ and Flak)
Although it's possible to not go Flak though. (Just really hard.)
OKW isn't designed to require all 3. They can if they want to, or if they want a Tiger II. But by design, you take one building for your early-mid and then you take your Flak for your mid-late. |
OKW T0 covers everything, though. When you include call-in infantry/MG34 the faction has very flexible/skipable teching.
You can't skip teching, you need T1 or T2. You can't just skip to Flak. |
The fact that most people skip T2-T3 units makes it pretty badly designed.

Didn't know about target tables, mortar is over performing for cost, grens are over performing for cost with upgrades.
I don't want to de-rail this thread, I'm just scared of even more power creep.
Target Tables were announced a couple weeks ago. Ost Mortar is fine, Soviet Mortar is crap. There is nothing wrong with Grens or the MG 42 they have. |
IMO it's not fair buffing ost units that need luv (light vehicles, pwerfer, sturmpanzer) without nerfing sniper, turbomortar, and mayybbeee even grens
Sniper will be fine with target tables, Mortar is fine would rather the Soviet Mortar be brought up to par, and what the fuck is wrong with Grens of all things? |

Then put the T34-76 back in soviet T3 and raise the price. There, not both factions have T4 bonus tier.
T4 Soviet isn't a bonus tier, it's equivalent to Ostheer T3. I don't know what you're trying to do, deflect?
If Soviets had a building with a stock T-34/85 (that was stronger than the current version) and an ISU-122, maybe you could compare them. |
Then you would never see T4 because you have strong Anti Infantry, a strong general tank, a strong TD, and a strong anti static position.
Before you bring up soviet T3 1. The units are paper or not very mobile, 2. I think soviet t3 needs a bigger delay.
Again, T4 is a bonus tier. You get a heavy AI and heavy AT unit. The Sturmpanzer IV needs a bit of a cost reduction, but the Panther is one of the best tanks in the game so it's fine. |
