Yeah honestly just adding a Pershing doesn't really solve anything, people will just always go for whatever commander has the Pershing. What miragfla above me said would indeed probably be the best solution.
I think Relic is sane enough to make the Pershing follow the faction philosophy though, so it'll be like a relatively fast and mobile heavy tank, but with relatively less armor. |
What gun dose the EZ8 use? I thought it was a 76mm. If this is the case what would be the difference between a EZ8, and sherman with a 76mm?
Also i like the idea of making all sherman kind of scale into a Jombo Sherman with vet. They get ammor and health with vet.
The difference between an M4A3(76)W and an M4A3E8 was that the E8 had a different suspension system, namely the HVSS, which is why it's called the E8. Otherwise they're pretty much the same. |
What's the point of having a Sherman with Rockets on it if it can't even Sherman? At that point you could just have a 2½-ton cargo truck with Rockets on it like the Xylophone.

I really don't like the idea of a Calliope in CoH2. It goes against all the designs for Artillery in the game thus far. Fragile, and unable to defend itself. The Calliope would be both durable and able to defend itself against infantry and vehicle attacks. And after it forces the infantry away, it can barrage the retreat point to wipe 'em. And counter-barraging would be ineffective because it's a medium tank, not exactly vulnerable to any Artillery. It's just too much in one package.
Plus the price, if we compare it's performance to the Sherman and Katyusha and get a price from that, it could easily reach 200 fuel. So if you only wanted artillery you're getting the short end of the stick. A Xylophone would be better: same rockets but mounted on a 2½-ton cargo truck.
Who's to say the Calliope will actually be able to use its gun though? |
Stg's were reserved for panzergrens IRL wouldnt make sense for volks to have them...

There is no way in hell those winter uniforms are realistic.
Take a look at any of these pictures and tell me again why the Germans straight up wore the most distinguishable color in a WINTER ENVIRONMENT.
Unlike these, the Grens in COH2 seems to have left their winter uniforms back in vCOH. So please tell me again, in what way the COH2 Ostheer Gren uniforms were historic?
Look at the photo I posted. The grenadiers are wearing the same winter parka, trousers, etc as those SS soldiers in the photo are wearing. Like I said, the only unhistorical thing about the winter grenadier uniform is the colour, which should be field grey or a sort of khaki-ish colour.
And again, they probably could've chosen a better winter uniform like some of the winter parkas you posted, but the one they chose IS historic. |

Huh? That´s the "Zeltbahn" camouflage.
The Grenadier's not wearing a Zeltbahn. He's wearing somekind of fictional parka and splinter trousers and helmet cover. What Friedhelm is wearing in the UMUV screencap isn't a Zeltbahn either, that's a Tarnjacke. Grenadiers would indeed look a lot less stupid if they actually wore a Zeltbahn or Tarnjacke instead of the fictional thing.
you know... looking on those pictures... the camouflage pattern might be different but that jacket thing looks very similar to what the OKW Obersoldaten wear.... What is the exact term that things called? if...anyone knows....or it even has a name....
