It's a Hollywood popcorn game, there's so many unrealistic things in that game with superman infantry and weird abilities. So no, with some imagination you can do something while still have some credibility. I hate it when people bring this up. Just because the game is arcade-y does not mean it can't be realistic in the units that are available to you. I personally like it when a game isn't uber realistic where tanks die in one hit, but it does provide you with units that were actually available at that moment. In: Lobby

And they took quite a lot of time to partially fix it. And now the Brits instead of a faction with some originality (Japan for ex, if it works in Men of War it can work in a Hollywood game like CoH), they should have named the game Company of Heroes : Electric boogaloo. We can also talk about Ardennes Assault which was ok but way too expensive (seriously 40 bucks for that?). I'm a little sour right now but I guess if the gameplay is good and I can find the new faction for 3 bucks on a key seller store I'll buy it. Except Japan only works in MoW because most of the tanks they have in that game that can actually do anything either never saw combat or were prototypes. The japanese in CoH would probably be gimmicky as fuck and the best tank they would have would be as powerful as an M5 light tank. They wouldn't be able to do shit against any of the other factions except in the infantry department. In: Lobby

Like I said before: Lets see. So what group is he supposed to be in then? The Private Alpha doesn't know when the expansion releases, the people in the alpha for the new faction don't know when it will be released, etc. Where would he have gotten that information to leak it? That doesn't sound right to me, even with sources. It's like standing in the rain and not getting wet. Relic should stop flaunting authenticity if they don't intend to follow it. Most of OKW's design, Pershing in Battle of the Bulge. Well in Normandy the British were much more of a threat because if Caen was taken the road to Paris was open. The US Army mostly came across stuff like StuG's if they came across any armor at all. The 29th Infantry Division for example only ever came across real tanks (as in Panzer IV's) in August 1944, after Operation Cobra. The only two panzer division that were active in the American sector before Operation Cobra were the Panzer-Lehr-Division and the 2nd SS Panzer Division, and neither of them had Tigers iirc. The Panzer-Lehr certainly didn't. And I guess by the time of the Bulge most Tigers would've been lost because of the fighting in Normandy. In: Lobby

You know, when your Devs are incompetent they can't create something as fast competent ones would, that's why we are stuck with ha myriad of bugs that have never been fixed, slow patches, crap expansion packs. I really don't understand why people always blame the fucking game before looking at themselves. Unless it is obviously an issue with the game I ALWAYS either blame myself for losing because I played shit or the other teammate because he just didn't play very well. Like, does anyone lose any matches anymore because they just didn't play very well once or just got outplayed? You don't always play well every match, some days are better than others. In: Lobby
