A Jumbo would be a more logical choice, looking at the faction design. |

So, what, you think just because Brad abuses this in the game all of these strats are intended? |
Then y can okw call-in dual p4's. Relic said they are not designed around medium tanks.
This faction design argument makes no sense to me
They aren't designed around generalist units, not medium tanks.
The USF are designed around having mobile but lightly armored and armed units. They make up for not having any heavy tanks by being able to get out of their tanks and repair them on the spot, which makes them more easy to preserve. And also vehicle crews that can repair a Pershing would not go well together at all, I think that would be OP as hell. |
I Wouldnt like a realistic game. but if germans can have all these "rare" units. Y they hell cant usf have a pershing. and Calliope
TBH. Allies should have very strong artillery options. This will cause okw player to think about where they place their buildings.
I think the game need to be different depending on the game mode.
1v1 and 2v2 should remain the same
3v3 and 4v4 call-ins need to be tied to tech. the game will run at a better pace.
u wont see t70 then a magical is-2 appear. or a luchs then a KT or JT appears.
It NEEDS to be gradually. During a game you will see all units Light,Med,Heavy,Super-Heavy.
Them not getting a Pershing doesn't have anything to do with them being rare. It has to do with faction design. |
Tell me, how to kill Axis' heavies with Jackson? Because because from what you say it looks like it's very easy.
And yes, it is when you face noob guy who thinks like "Whoaaaa, I have a Tiger! I will druve into your army and crush them! Yeaaa!! Tiger!!"
But if you face guy who know how-to-play it's almost impossible. There are always Volks or PzGrens with schrecks nearby but what's most important, there are AT Guns. Wounded Tiger, KT, Pather (what ever) will just drive back and get repairs, and then do it again.
You don't have any damage sponge to drive into range of this AT gun, take hit, finish almost-killed KT, take another hit and reverse.
I have countless games where KT was almost dead but it retreated behind PaK and after 1min it showed again with full health. No way to finish it without something heavy.
Well yea that's the problem. What I meant was that the US has powerful enough units to at least damage the German heavies to almost 0% health, the problem is that the Jackson can't really chase down and kill the heavies. I just thought people were blowing the uneffectiveness of the US's late game out of proportion.
What I would suggest is adding a M4A3E2(75)W (Jumbo) to the game. |
No, sorry, they can't. With this new patch, USF have the crutch of the rather OP P47 run to rely on evening the tank situation lategame, but if that didn't exist an equal amount of fuel in panthers are ALWAYS going to win against jacksons when they're not outnumbered 3 to 1 (and they won't be seeing how the jackson is only 33% cheaper than panther)
Um, fyi I didn't mean using them to go toe-to-toe with a Panther, because that's not how you should use them.
Look, I'm not saying the Jackson is perfect right now, but everyone blows the uneffectiveness of the USF's late game out of proportion. |
I completely agree Sarantini! USF getting a nondoc Pershing will probably never happen because Relic and Sega need that $$$ from commander-specific units
They don't need heavy tanks. I seriously do not understand everyone saying there's problem with the USF's late game in team games. A bunch of Jacksons with units that can spot for them can kill Tiger's, Panther's and King Tiger's with ease. |
I like my factions to not be copies of each other though. Doing all of that will just make the U.S. a Soviet clone. |
Wait does this mean I'll lose my winter skins?
No, you'll just be able to also use the winter skins on summer maps and vice versa. |
The guy in the video clearly didn't understand how the game worked. |
