Mitosis* |
I'm not a fan of the mixed game types. For me it has changed the game into a fantasy RTS rather than a WW2 RTS. The gameplay is alright at least, if not that the game is very stale because everyone uses the same optimal doctrines and build orders. |
Liking the replay name, keep it up. |
I think the biggest variable in balance is commader choice.
For instance. 1v1 USF vs Ostheer is favored toward USF. Unless the ostheer uses mechanized support. This doctrine pretty much pisses all over the USF, hardcountering them at every stage of the game past the 6 minute mark.
OKW vs Soviets might be a little bit in favor of the soviets. If the soviets use one of the handful of powerful doctrines. A game where the soviet goes for say, reserve army doctrine, and the OKW goes for Breakthrough tactics, is not Soviet favored at all. In fact it's the other way around in that case as OKW infantry makes soviet basic infantry look like a joke and without soviet call in tanks and mark target ability, OKW has no problem going head to head in the armor war.
The strength differences in doctrines make the game incredibly stale, predictable, and imbalanced. |
Maxim spam is easy.
When you're loosing to it it's either you were surprised by it and didn't adapt accordingly or it's a major L2P issue on your side.
Yeah, you really need to tighten up your gameplay.
Sorry.. |
Oh my god I Looooovee the show chat function! |
What, are you telling me you don't like getting duplicate faceplates after 3 hours of gaming?
Madness! |
Simply just make the crew have same popcap as vehicle do.
Not really hard to fix.
That would make saving your crews a huge liability. If the vehicle got stolen/destroyed you would have a 12+ pop squad that is about as useless as rear echelon troops. |
The system has been good for me so far. 1 OKW commander, 1 USF commander, a few skins (no complete sets yet though), a faceplate, a victory strike, and a hand full of bullitins. So far only 1 duplicate, a cammo that I already had. |
As is already mentioned, it's for immersion purposes. Having a tank drive through 4 infantry squads without getting shot at looks silly. |
