I farmed for 30 hours over a week ago and the most effective settings are AI @ normal difficulty. I preferred using 2 v 2, 1000 VP. They will go on for over two hours or more. Ditto for 4 v 4.
Anything more than 2 1/2 or 3 hours is a waste as the timer will not count those hours.
also, I stacked the AI evenly 3 v 3 or 1 v 1 (all AI). If the AI is uneven, one side will win too quickly.
I was happy to win Mechanized pretty soon after I started farming but the subsequent wins (2 vcoh commanders) irritated me greatly so I quit. I respect the health of my desktop too much, lol. |
I didn't use them alone. The 20mm Flak has the usual disadvantages of a static unit. However, it has much more firepower than the MG-34 and shreds infantry that attempt to cap the VP. It can stop blobs. Besides the crew, it is pretty durable.
I haven't seen it being a bad unit yet as the VPs need to be held anyway by several units and the flak becomes something of a diversion. I recrew them with volksgrenadiers. |
^ I built it three times in one team game post patch.
I think it's the same as the one in the base.

There is no such thing as 'defeating whole division' unless the entire division are casualties or are captured as well with the collapse of the rear & service/support units.
A better description is 'inflicted material losses and casualties'. And yep, US 9th Armored is not in Iraq. |
Obersoldaten are the only infantry that I actively avoid fighting with other infantry. |
-infiltration nades
-Mg-34
-10 fuel 20mm Flak gun near VP defense
-sturmoffizer forced retreat 1 unit
And most of all, Infantry Gun. |
I would like to see the panther have the AI of the P4, and a non-doc jumbo sherman w/ 76mm gun. |
^^
US Infantry company with priests and AT weighted more towards bazookas and AT guns than tanks. |
Which is strongest faction right now in 1 vs 1?

Which is strongest faction right now in 2 vs 2 and above?

I've had an extensive group discussion with a veteran (Capt.) of the 101st Airborne (RIP).
An interesting fun fact: They were given IQ tests, and the cut off for officers was, IIRC 125 points and many were college graduates (he was, as well) in a time when only 5% of Americans were rich enough to have a degree.
The personnel selection was pretty strict. Ditto for the physical standards. The airborne men were generally older and more mature men than those in the infantry divisions. |
