Thread: What unit do you miss from COH1?7 Nov 2013, 22:51 PM A lot of units, unfortunately. PE was my favorite faction although I liked the British too. The whole Airborne and British Glider doctrine. (paras, airdropped 57mm gun) The gliders were awesome. Hummell and Priests. The option for the British to build bren carriers from home base with minimal fuel cost. I like the idea of faction with lots of halftracks. Nebel, King tiger/Jadpanther. In: Lobby
Thread: CoH2 Patch News!7 Nov 2013, 19:31 PM I want to buy elite troops and Soviet industry. The tiger Ace thing is bizarre. The description makes it look like an all or nothing move. And how good will this 'Tiger Ace' be? Will it have special abilities or would it just be a buffed tiger? In: Lobby

Thread: CoH2 Patch News!6 Nov 2013, 06:22 AM Defensive tactics (Soviet) looks like a lot of fun. Then combined the tank traps with the SU-85..mmmm + heavy MG teams to help the SU. The German one: Sector artillery is great (but defensive). Tank traps are good and pak43 is situational. In: Lobby
Thread: T34 solution?6 Nov 2013, 05:56 AM I agree with that UgBear.....The soviets' Achilles heel in this game is late game armor. The new T-34/85 (if the leaked patch notes are correct) will have a increased pen (110 to 120), increased scatter, increased ROF (up to PzIV speed) and per unit cost lowered to PzIV levels. The increased pen is vital, as now it can pen Panthers from the rear when otherwise it was terribly inefficient. This gives the soviets a much better chance against Panthers but the Tigers will still need heavy tanks to counter. In: COH2 Balance
