I had that feeling as well at first but just because of the Woman with her steel hand. Might very well just be a resistance fighter (at least I hope so)
Yes, this is a fighter of the Dutch resistance. And the first story seems to be dedicated to the Market Garden operation (the second story in early 2019, the seasonal pass was canceled). Information from the presentation of the game. |
I don't know about you guys, I didn't like the trailer, maybe the game will be better (I hope). But I have such a feeling that I looked Mad Max in the Second World War style. |
That happens a lot when the medic model gets stuck inside the other model it tries to heal, usually occurs when retreating multiple units and they arrive at base at the same time. Move your squad, should fix it.
Yes, I know, but I do not like it, the Soviets do not have other treatment options (self-healing, advanced bases) and I would not want the only way to treat it was bad, because I would like to see that my soldiers were healed and not distracted from combat that would wipe the snot. For one fight this happens more than a dozen times. |
Soviet medics dont heal, they just stand next to the soldier and the icon of healing blinks. |
Every patch making a game more balanced, but the balance becomes symmetrical.
Do you remember when OKW and sov had a different tiers? Do you remember what OKW could pump resources? Do you remember a ostheer vet ability in elite doc? Do you remember a many call-in units for every faction? Remember a shrekvolks? Do you remember a stug with good accuracy against inf? And do you remember all another stuff what was removed and changed for making a "mirror" balance?
And now I see a 1-men sov sniper and another stuff just removed (like a squad formation).
3 years ago CoH2 had much worse balance than now, but that balance was assymetrical and more interesting to play. I will never again could play a game what I remember, and its making me sad.
I agree, for greater boredom and uninterest, it remains to add absolutely symmetrical maps |
Poor useless shock troops, you again have no buff |
I know I'm going to sound rude and I say this in every balance patch thread, but can't you guys just leave the damn game alone already? It's five years old and doesn't need sweeping changes like this. You should have left the balance as it was several patches ago. This patch is a major disappointment, quite frankly. There are so many unwarranted and overbearing changes. There actually are some changes I'd like to see, too, but instead I mostly get changes I hate.
Why change the katyusha now? It's not overpowered, it never has been. Why change the Soviet sniper now, after 5 years? Now it's just turning into the same thing as every other sniper.
You guys are making the Jackson yet another typical tank destroyer instead of the long range glass cannon, which was far more unique. Not it's just...a heavier wolverine. Maybe it's better for "balance," maybe it isn't. All I know is it made the game far more homogeneous and boring.
Why would you take Volks' incendiary until an HQ building, while at the same time nerfing the timing of the medic truck? Wasn't nerfing volks last patch enough? What on earth are you supposed to do against buildings now? Is there a single OKW unit you won't nerf? I'm not convinced, given the previous patch nerfed bloody everything in OKW's arsenal all at once. We can't even have a bloody kubelwagon that doesn't die to a breeze in the wind; god forbid OKW gets to have anything early game.
And nerfing hull down? Seriously? Who asked for this? Who even uses it, ever? The changes to hull down read like they're straight out of a corrupt-a-wish thread. You buffed the speed, woo hoo, but then you remove the biggest reason to use it. Ridiculous change.
The few changes I'm happy to see (like the Cromwell) are just reversions of old nerfs that shouldn't have even made it into the game in the first place.
I'm this close to just uninstalling the game because I'm sick of it being meddled with unnecessarily.
And ignore units that really need changes: Shock troops, IS-2, etc. |
Pacific theater didn't really have any massive tank battles consisting of new technology, or "eye candy"
Not to mention, it was mostly navel/air. Then island hopping with am atrocious offset KD ratio.
I personally don't want to see another ww2 coh. It'll just be an expansion pack. I thought the coh1 modern warfare mod was awesome. Not sure why people wouldn't want to see a cold war gone hot scenario, early to mid 80s. Considering many countries would be in play would add space for expansion and diversity. Also, you can write history
I'm interested in alternative stories and I have long suggested two options:
- Operation Unthinkable, the Allies + remnants of the Wehrmacht attack the USSR and its allies.
- The Cuban Crisis. This period is very interesting. The United States and the Soviet Union have developed a huge number of interesting weapons, but it is still early for general rocketization and the main battle tanks. |
Yet, for the exact same reason CoH1 sp was a massive success?
Its exact the same thing.
I think CoH single game was popular because it was based (copied) on Saving Private Ryan and the Brothers in Arms films. CoH2 was based on the stupid Enemy at the Gate. |
Like i said; I love sterotypes
Perhaps you should ask the british 22nd Armoured Brigade about this meme army. Perhaps you can ask the italian Guastatori units about the meme army.
To be honest when i see this community i hope Relic will redo CoH with US and german faction because it seems to me that the community loves stereotypes and cliches
It is because of the stereotypes and clichés, CoH2 single game failed. |
