Yes, the Eastern Front is an interesting and maneuverable front. But the problem is that to sell the game the Western Front is needed, people will buy the game more willingly the game will be about the Western Front. Better stick to Iron Harvest for "WW1-like" experience. The Eastern Front in its length was much larger than the Western Front. For this reason, the war on the Eastern Front was less positional in character than the Western Front. In: COH2 Gameplay

(Not the community patches tho, overall they were awesome IMO) I would say the one where Mobile Assault and Advanced emplacement regiment got added. Not only that both doctrines were beyond broken and OP (5 CP land matress destroying an OKW HQ in 1 barrage; free counter barrage vs mortars that attempted to destroy the almost unkillable emplacements), but it also removed veterancy from all units, caused the 100-man RE squad and 5x schreck /4x sweeper etc. bug on all squads after reinforcing. And it bugged out the automatch map-pool as well. IIRC every 1v1 was played on Stalingrad, every 2v2 on Kharkov, every 3v3 on Rzhev Summer and every 4v4 on Steppes. No matter what maps you vetoed. And it was during ESL as well For me and my friends it was the best bug. Because Summer Rzhev is the most interesting, bloody and tense map. And it does not matter that people crying about the imbalance (because the balance for me is not the main place, the main place is the interest to play), we played and bloody won on either side of map. The worst patches are the last three, they make the game less interesting and the factions are clones. In: COH2 Balance

The other “soldiers” were equally stupid looking. Blue face paint? No helmets? Weren’t all of the armies segregated at the time? So why is one of the tommies black? That’s almost as stupid as BF1’s German sniper being black. Honestly, CoD WWII did the integration of female and black characters better in their story mode. The “historical plausibility” of a female resistance fighter working with American soldiers or the inclusion of a black US soldier in some missions because he was from another unit that was all black makes sense. (I’m not even gong to mention how garbage their multiplayer is though. Black female Nazis? Really!?!?) I wouldn’t have a problem with the single player having historical liberties taken, but robot arms, female soldiers and other crazy characters being portrayed as “soldiers” is garbage. Dice is really putting the “garden” in market-garden. Lol I agree, ridiculous clothes, hair and paint. This also goes into the point of why I think that this game is similar to the Mad Max. These soldiers are not at all like the British soldiers of the Second World War. Another question that interests me very much: I hope they do not mutilate so Soviet Soldiers (this will be an epic fail). Because in the Soviet Army there was a strict discipline of clothing, only trophy weapons, knives, shoes, belts and camouflage jackets and pants were allowed. PS my favorite part of the BF is 2142.
