why such a big differnce?

im sure i cant be the 70 mp more sice the m5 has a better upgrade for the same ammo cost as the 251 and the troops that it trnasports can fire out of it.

i think originally for their rolls, they want SU to be more offensive, give it better assault package and make it able to push with base infantry line, reinforce and provide support with upgrade and 251 give a support defense german infantry push off SU infantry dig in, in a small area and 251 came in to reinforce and help to counter blob anti attack, or urban fight roll with flame. (which OH really need on the map with alot buildings)

another reason is maybe OH infantry have more AT power than SU infantry, M5 use suppression to counter LMG grens as it out performance of cons, LMG have more pen too, and 251 have flame to burn the human wave of SU faster, as OH infantry is usually out numbered by SU.

however since the reinforcement is removed after upgrade, the strategies changes, maybe 251 upgraded should be looked again, as it have less offensive power than M5 upgraded, less usefulness.

another tip for flame 251 though, is flame attack ground don't require vision and can shoot through blockers, and it have quite long range I used a 251 behind a ruin burn decrew a Bofors and destory a 17 pounder and was able to steal the Bofors and turn the game around.

about same, M5 have a little more, i think, but M5 ate 251 like cheese...

the damage of it still high, it still kills faster than P2. today in my game, it still clears 2 OKW AT gun while taking fire from a shrek, the 2 OKW at gun and flak HQ, and retreat to safety with very minimal HP left, almost killed my volks that is chasing it, down 2 model in 1 bust then my volk fire missed, 2nd burst kill another 2 model, so my volk retreat. so i think it's moving accuracy need to be look at too, but this is a good start, i think when centaur have same AI performance as OKW Panzer 2 then it is good, (price higher because high armor and HP pool)

I actually agree on remove the set up time, just make it have to stop to fire. and drop the fuel, or don't remove setup time, but increase its pen increase to able to heavy damage or kill the Quad that is coming at it and didn't fall back.

one question though think flak HT have skill to detect and trac infantry, does it track infantry and fire at them while it got smoked. (i never used that skill)

Just the insta pin or insta pin plus the incredible accuracy? It often snipes UKF snipers.

I tested the pak howie in a comp stomp. I'd be surprised if anyone complains that it is OP after the nerf. The AOE is almost 60% smaller than it was, and it doesn't have the sniper like accuracy that the ISG does. Combine that with the rof nerfs and the new one will have about 25% of the combat capability of the old pak howie. I didn't like having games devolve into arty-fests but going nuclear on the USF's only non-doctrinal indirect fire is going overboard.

i just had a game, felts the pack howie is fine in performance comparison with ISG, the only problem is the price, if those two are same price i think it will be fine. (also make it 4 man and decrew with 1 man, right now decrew with 2 men is just useless and cost more MP bleed to USF only)

ISG and pack howie needs more nerf, i think the pin should reduce another 50% but increase the pin area to compensate, and lower its accuracy by another 10%~25% to infantry but accuracy for buildings stays same. it is support weapon not sniper with everyshot is german's sniper's explosive shot.
