OKW was boring before...
Build Shrek blobs until Panther or JP4 and P4... if they die you lose, if not you win.
With the rework OKW now has a reason to go Mech before Healing. Shrek blobs are still there and need to be addressed.
People were/are complaining about how hard it was to even get to Vet 3 on anything(except Volks) let alone Vet 4-5, for a faction whose strength was supposed to be Vet 5, you rarely ever saw it ever.
The Ostheer has the most or second most commanders after/before the Soviets. Removing one hard to balance ability in one commander isn't going to ruin the faction (besides all you do is delay Pak 40 some, you still build almost EXACTLY the same units).
Late War OKW was ridiculous to balance and went from OP to UP to relying on a crutch ninja buffed unit(Leig spam) to being UP again. The flavor of building truck bases in the field, having Vet 5, and having better armor units than early war Ostheer is still there.
OKW was fun before Leig got suppression and UKF release.
before i always get Mech first then follow by a walking stuka, because mines and pack and shreck can keep ally early armor off, then flak for Tanks, but Leig and Pack Howie buff force me to get med when against USF because I will get Pack Howie bombardment to death before my walking stuka out, so i have to use Leig to counter USF pack howie. then UKF release, I have to get JP4 ASAP to counter the Centaur because no infantry or AT gun can stand up against it.
in the preview patch I felt OKW is little UP when against any form of blobs, right now I see no reason go for battlegroup HQ except for healing, ISG didn't get its auto turning back which is kind hassle to use as mortar, Flak HT is completely useless against any infantry group that is more than 2 sqs. and with recent Luch nerf, Luch can't win the fight against T70 now. T70 kills infantry more effective than Luch and even have better AT than Luch. before is macro fight between Luch and T70, how is Luch need run away from T70. but if i don't go Luch i don't have any good AI unit to fight blobs |
As far as I remember, if you move it the antenna entity is deleted and you can't see anymore. Needs to be tested though because my information is old.
PS: If you pay attention, you can notice that the same bug happens with OKW after they upgrade Forward Retreat Point. Once you spot a deployed truck with the upgrade, you can see the antenna in the FoW.
if i remember correctly, if your major rely point is being spotted once, the antenna will show on his FOW for ever, even after you move your major, it will still shows it at same spot, it will only renew if you enemy scout the area again sees it empty.
it is same as you see a enemy bunker, after retreat you can still see the bunker in fow, you rocket it or mortar barrage it, even it is destroyed already it will still shows on your fow until that spot is scouted again by your unit. |

Zeroing arty never hits anything.... are you serious??
It is one of the most accurate arty in the game, it practically follows units in the target space.
zeroing art start drop after 10-15 sec delay and early rounds are all incredibly inaccurate, there is plenty time for units inside the area to move out the AOE area before real barrage drops. who ever stayed in the circle for that long is their own problem. zeroing art is only good to take out UKF enplacements and USF fighting positions only. which is exactly what Anvil art can do with 45MU, while Anvil art start droping after 2-4 secs at pin point center of the art first! it gives little time for units to react, there is no weapon group can get out that fire fast enough (HMG and mortar have some chance if lucky, AT gun is dead meat) , only way to get out the Anvil art on weapon team, is move as soon as the red smoke drops. |
also don't keep your own unit in the sector either specially where the enemy was at. it will be barraged by friendly fired and 99% it will die. |

Try using Base arty and you will know how crap it is, it cannot even hit OKW truck.
IS does not have a ROF increase, their out of cover debuff is less than before, their in cover performance is worse than before so overall a nerf because nobody use IS out cover.
Churchill + Anvil cost equal Tiger. More than 1 Churchill is a pipe dream in 1v1.
70 muni for heavy engineer is too much, the cost should be reduced consider how late it is. Reduced movement speed is a very big nerf for engineer, they are much more vulnerable to rifle nade and volk can still run up and throw flame nade to their face. Not to mention tank crush.
Overall Brit got nerfed hard and Relic still have not fixed Brit problem with garrisoned building. Indirect fire currently is bugged against building and anybody suggests Wasp is smoking weed consider how fragile the Bren is.
base arty is suck but once it is upgrade to Anvil it can take out any german emplacement in 1 art barrage, like bunker or PAK43, also it is 45 mu cost, what you expect? many german offmap art that cost 100-200 mu are pretty much have same effect. like I rarely see anything hit by okw zeroing art which cost 200mu
as for heavy engineer, do you realized that 70mu turn a 210mp unit into a elite infantry like obers while still have super duper cheap reinforcement price? with 2 armor which more than shock and a LMG, 3 LMG HRE unit is strong as obers it drop german infantry like flies as long as you don't move it around into cover let them hug each other in cover to eat nades like idiots, just fire where they stand they can force off any infantry in the game including obers. not mention its lighting repair speed. just think the price 10MU for 2 armor and slower moving in combat super repair speed, and that 60 mu is a LMG price. i don't think it is over priced.
yes Brits got nerfed but so far from what I experience is either IS got over nerfed or OKW volks got over buffed. |
Panzer 4 is not a breakthrough tank or classified as a heavy. Compare it to a panther.
well Churchill is too strong for its price, i willing to try out the new price because my less than half health Churchill took out 2 p4 alone and with some help from AT gun it took out 3rd one. if it is full health it prob able take out all 3 of them, so a price increase is needed for that unit.

after few tries, this tank completely live up to my exception, it is a totally trash, only thing it is good is burn USF blob as it come so late, but USF just smoke it and go around attack ground of that poor thing. a turret less tank that can't fight other tanks
if Relic want it to be useful, give it earlier CP, the 16 pop, that can stay if and only if they let Hetzer able to do JP4 job too like KV-8 can do KV1 job. then it might become useful. |
