ok thought you were serious for a second. Yes all tanks miss, its the ROF that is the issue with missing. The IS2 used to have much worse accuracy with a low ROF, they patched it a while back. It used to be just throwing away fuel buying the thing.
I tend to avoid straight up one on ones with the panther since allies always come in groups. I use it to harass and annoy then lure them into AT guns and mines, works quite well. Then i use it to finish them off. |
Never miss? You driving the thing to near point blank range and halting it..which is highly unlikely. There's no way that thing fires 10 shots and all 10 hit in a row (example)
Of course i exaggerate a bit, but it missing isn't really an issue since allied tanks also miss a lot. |
The answer to the blob.......
Panzerwerfer baby |
Something like this would be great. |
Kubel with capping and no suppression is fine. All it will be good for is pushing units(won't last for long)/and capping(won't last after 5 minutes).
It will still go extinct after the 5 minute mark; otherwise it will be a vet pinata for light vehicles. You can also ghost tank trap the kubel(can do it with ghost wire and sandbags too) to screw the pathfinding and get it killed.
Remove the capping and there is literally no reason to build this unit at all; especially added with the fact it has no suppression now. Add fuel cost, and you screw with OKW teching too much since trucks cost fuel to get out now as well.
I don't know where people get the idea that when axis had a capping vehicle, it destroyed balance completely(are people talking about the kettenkrad from COH OF?). Brits can already do this just fine with raid operations on bren carriers with the best commander in the game(granted it comes at 1 CP, but they decap points REALLY fast). USF does it pretty much all the time, and it's not like a rare sight to see t70's using their vet 1 ability. I will have no problems countering capping kubels in the december patch, especially given their already terrible pathfinding hindering them from doing their job well anyway. You can screw with their pathfinding even more by laying down tank traps on the road or chokepoints if you really want to frustrate an OKW player.
Its basically a scout vehicle, i don't think it should be anything else. How much do you expect from a flimsy jeep lol. |
Now that relic apparently reads thease forums I'd like to resurrect this old topic; inefficiency of panthers. Not only are they very expensive to tech and the units themselves are expensive. With the recent pop cap reduction for heavies they also became pop inefficent units too. Why would you take 16 pop panther over 19 pop tiger? Or compare it to 16 pop pershing which has similiar at capabilities and is also godly against infantry
Ostheer T3 on the other hand has more efficent units despite being cheaper. Only 80 fuel stug which only takes 8 pop (probably too efficent since Pak takes 9). I'd take two stugs over one panther anyday.
Panthers imo should get pop reduction to 14 like jacksons and fireflys and get a slight price decrease or give them a dual pur
pose gun.
Panther is indeed perfect, and i never miss a shot with it, so i dont know where the bs RNG hit myth is coming from, maybe they are trying to shoot over a hill or something lol. |
Lol, churchill is as solid as jelly, cant pen anything and is slow as f,,ck. Comet needs to move like a puma to survive. BS, both doctrines suck. |
You cant, you are supposed to be ostheer cannon fodder.

I feel like repair speeds have gotten way too fast with the new factions. Nerfing repair speeds across the board to ost/sov levels, with the exception of sturms who can have 1.5x, would add a level of strategy to the game where damaging an enemy's tank without killing it would be more effective than it currently is. Having a tank back at base for repairs should be a tactical element of the game, not a "pop back, superglue together, pop in, go" thing that it is now.
Different factions are good and all, but some quintessential things, like repair speed and access to suppression/mines should be similar or the same across all factions in order to allow deeper play/counterplay scenarios.
You ever feel frustrated watching an IS-2's health crawl up while being repaired by 2 engineers? Good, that's how it should be.
Once again.... repair speeds are faster for allies to help them survive better axis armor by using good micro. |
Is there any hope, that the USF AT-Gun gets in line with 6pdr/Zis/PAK ?
It really sucks, that you dont have a reliable AT-Gun...
Relic just have do cmd+c/v the britsh 6pdr, wich is historically the same gun and everything would be fine...
I belieave that one day USF will gets a real AT-Gun...
OR is it just a dream?
Lol the USF AT gun is pure dogsh,,it
I laugh whenever i see a USF player using one, giggle while it bounces off p4 and panther armor. |
