Profile of Kurobane

after so many complaints about the new b4 I tried it myself for a few teamgames. I found it underwelming.
My recommendation, if you think it es great: play it yourself (usually my recommendation....)

Get Vision, (firing into the fog of war gives you a -30% penalty) then pop For Mother Russia and watch as your B4 lands almost every single time

Agreed with this. If you want to see a good example of the balance team being biased look at how crappy the Churchill Avre is in comparison to the SturmTiger.

Wehrmacht officers come at 2CP, spotting scopes 5CP. You have made a comparison of Ost vehicles against Infantry. You need to take a lie down.

I made a Comparison of different vision tools to show that Axis also have scout units as well. If you are losing to Pathfinders which has slightly more vision than Pioneer (which has the highest vision range out of any stock unit without upgrades), a unit that you start with and available stock to your faction then you have some serious L2P issues which reinforces my belief that we should limit people posting on these forums unless they reach a certain rank because every noob under the sun cries about something being OP rather than reflecting within and realizing that maybe they just aren't that good at the game.

So the SU-76, I have used this unit extensively since COH 2 launched. My opinion on it is that it is not a bad unit for its timing but it doesn't scale well or offer anything of value late game that isn't better spent on other things. It has no real role nor does it offer any meaningful support.


First Veterancy :

Vet 1
Unlocks the "Tank Hunter Camouflage" ability

-25% recharge time of the "Light Artillery Barrage" ability.
+16.7% damage.
+30% accuracy.
+20% ac/de-celeration.

Vet 3
+25% reload speed.
+17.5% rotation speed.
+11.1% range of the "Light Artillery Barrage" ability


The SU-76 Veterancy doesn't offer it anything useful that allows it to scale into the end game. It is all over the place with a bunch of different random things that it doesn't really need. Before any buff or nerf the Vet is really in need of a rework/overhaul. The Unit needs additional penetration/sight through vet rather than accuracy (vehicle target sizes are rather large and it rarely misses even without Vet so its wasted here)
Also the improvements to the units acceleration/rotation via vet should be made baseline as it is a very cumbersome unit to work with.

Second the Unit really should have switchable Ammo - HE Ammo with similar strength to the USF M8 Scott auto fire (with 35-40 range not 60) would allow it to support better. With a bigger price tag (say 10 more fuel) it could be an additional choice over the T-34.

They (Balance Team) gutted Infantry Sections into the ground without giving British any proper support weapons hence why they have the lowest Win Rate in the game across all game modes.

On Top of that they even nerfed the Vet 1 ability which made Vickers actually useful inside a building. Its pretty bad at the moment and needs UC to supress for it since it cant do it on its own very well.
