And reducing the risk of a huge blob with botch epic AI (obers) and epic AT (volks). Make volks a little bit more squishy. Give you a reliable early game counter to light vehicles (raketen). Give you a good medium tank counter in mid game (jagdpanzer). This will not fix anything. as some people already said the shrek is a crutch. the okw really doesnt have good AT guns and you are forced to buy shreks. In: COH2 Balance

Their is in fact only 1 faction that's currently UP that's the ostheer (and it proven in the statistics). but you and the rest of the fangirls have now complained that every single okw unit is OP safe for the infra red HT. My biggest issue personally with OKW is not that particular units are unbeatable or something (because they aren't, let's face it, and there are counters). It's that the OKW player can make piles of mistakes and still have a chance of winning mid game or late game. Meanwhile the Soviets, if they stuff up just once, will be rolled over late game by the blobs and the Heavy tanks. That's the issue here, not that certain units are OP, sure, those units being OP doesn't make things any easier, but the fact that Soviets can't afford a) to have a bad early game and b) to make many mistakes, whilst OKW can, is simply ridiculously unfair. Once again, Soviets are shafted into boring strats and a meta that doesn't reward skill, just right doctrine choice. It's absolutely pitiful faction design. Don't get me started on OKW's faults... Mate what the fuck are you talking about? how is it so that okw can make mistakes when they have far less resources and volks brutally rely on their vet to remain competitive. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Any use for Breakthrough doctrine and Panzerfüsiliers?1 Feb 2015, 02:24 AM Panzer fusiliers are one of the cost effective rifle infantry in the game even exceeding regular grens . also their g43 upgrade is better then the grens and im not talking about the extra g43 and vision but that the g43 of the pzf (while having slightly less damage then gren g43) does a better job at increasing the damage then the gren g43. also the JT's barrage ability is as powerful as a isu152 HE attack i beleive In: OKW Strategies

While I might lower them down to 380mp at some point, they're definitely not a 300mp unit. Volks are indeed a bit crappy, thinking about what to do with them. The MP40 upgrade right now is a bit half-assed, it does do well against conscripts but that's about it. Why should i bother with them? the reason they cost 400 mp in their current state is because they get the lmg. if i match the obers kar98 performance with other infantry their abilities and durability they should only cost 35 mp a piece and only 280 mp per squad. also why buff the m3? i would suggest you change the mp40 upgrade to a dual mp44 package volks are not suited for close combat. also from this point on their is no point putting the okw flacktruck anywhere but in the base camp. to much of a risk. Thread: USF Cost of Lieutenant vs effectiveness30 Jan 2015, 15:15 PM Jump back to quoted post30 Jan 2015, 14:51 PMNuclear Arbitor i actually have used spios effectively against rifles but i didn't do much pushing and it was an urban map. i do not have a replay as i didn't save one and i've uninstalled the game (i'm hanging out here waiting for patch news and also for lack of anything better to do). they were also backed by a kubel which did most of the heavy managing, the spios just dealt damage. i probably would have been better off with volks but i went 3 spios because i know how boring and frustrating volks spam can be to play against; didn't build any obers either for the same reason (so edgy!). Oh no doubt on maps like Stalingrad pg's and sp's are quite good. But on the majority of the maps they simply suck balls. even i use double sp on stallinggrad but if you try that shit on langress and prepare to get your ass kicked. In: COH2 Balance

Jaigen where is the "im so pro no flaws skilled replay" we are all dying to see Oh ffs are you stupid? i didnt say they pg or sp could not defeat rifles at midrange they cannot do so cost effectively. you put 2 rifles like volks or scripts against every single pg or in the case of grens or rifleman (who are more expensive but has way better dps) you simply curb stomp them simply because you have far more hp on your side for mp then the sp or pg. so the only way to be cost effective is close range and they are not suited for that. Shocks on the other hand are more durable , cheaper (costing slightly more then a single gren) and have the tools to get close to enemy in form of smoke. because of all this you sometimes see 1vs1 games with 3 shocks. okw however uses volks + obers and ost uses pure gren spam simply because how bad sp and pg's are. And if you disagree with simple match show me a fucking replay where you use 2-3 pg's/sp successfully. In: COH2 Balance

As long as you will believe them to be axis shocks, you will keep failing, because they are not. No they dont , as i said before they have nice dps. but rifle squads (and im not talking rifleman im talking all riflesquads volks scrips fusiliers etc) can have twice the hp for mp and that dps is going to safe them. only when they are point blank and do triple the damage of the rifle squad they become cost effective. Thread: USF Cost of Lieutenant vs effectiveness29 Jan 2015, 18:10 PM i would rate both the sp and pg at 280 mp. sure these guys have some decent mid range firepower. but technically they are frail as fuck and shooting rifle units at midrange is a good way to lose the mp war. the only way they become cost effective is short range and they lack the durability and tools like smoke to get into such a position.
