Remember in COH 1 you could snipe units out of halftracks.
This would fix so many issues |
Ok, and soviet player will use a combo of clown-car sniper + guards. Problem still existing.
He tries that in the first minutes and he would lose all map control as the guards are simply not their. |

In 1v1 the problem is PPSH + snipers. There's no way to counter it without the Soviet player really screwing up, the manpower drain is just too significant. They need to either nerf sniper firing speed again, or preferably the PPSH, it's just too good now vs LMGs or G43s.
Agreed with the lmg upgraded grens but not for the g42 upgrade. snipers are just death meath waiting to happen with g43 spam. that said counter snipe can be done. especially when the german sniper gets to vet 1 and uses fire bullets |
If you'll learn how to read I didn't even said IS-2 is underpowered...I said that 2 well microed Panzers can deal with it...
@Porygon 415 games as Germans and 109 as Soviets...yep,you're totaly unbiased
And we are just going to assume the p4's have all the room they need to perform this little trick? |
The panther isnt the problme there. 2v2 to a lesser extent and 3v3/4v4 have terribad fuel scaling. This allows it to be spammed and spammed early. A horde of Panthers takes more effort to counter than to use.
This wasnt so with the old AT nade. But add the improved AT nade that bounces off it frontally and you have a serious headache.
In 1v1 if it dies its tragic. In 2v2 and up and its meh that sucks....
The problem then is not the panther but the soviet AT. introducing a turreted like kv-85 would solve a lot of problems |
From all the comments here the panther is balanced in 1vs1 but a bit on the op side in 3vs3 and 4vs4. |

Nah, too complicated. Reduce fuel costs of both T3 and T4, but increase building time.
Would lead to rushes. so that's not an option. currently teching is about equal and i like to keep it that way |
Thread: Ram 7 Mar 2014, 12:41 PM
Soviets wouldn't be so reliant on Ram if they were able to access T3 and T4 feasibly in the same game.
Can't we just make it cheaper for Soviets to backtech/sidetech later in the game? It'd probably make this shit so much easier to balance because the Reds can actually get their whole tech tree (omg, wtf, no way).
I think I speak for everyone when I say nobody likes the amount of RNG bullshit that comes with Ram ability.
Everybody is pissed of with me "just as planned". The best solution this problem is this. a soon as you build tier 3 or 4 the other building gets a 50 fuel reduction. this allows the soviets to rely on both buildings. |

I've seen tigers with no blitz backing off successfuly from ram.
"Hey look! A T34! I better reverse a bit to be in line with grens!".
No rocket science, no lightning reflexes, common sense and basic micro.
post a view replays. and i want a truckload of the stuff your smoking. |

"simply moving backwards destroys that tactic. or some support"
Look you DO know how to Counter Ram! MVGame.
Unless you have vet 1 that's not possible. and even if you do you still need lighting reflexes |
