BUT there are some dissapointments when comapred to the leaked notes/general expectations (assuming the official notes are complete and correct): Build-time of soviet tier 1/tier 2 building not reduced. Blitz (german vehicels` vet 1 ability) still available with damaged/destroyed engine. Soviet strafe not nerfed. German strafe (aka pin-plane) even buffed (wtf). In: Lobby

Agreed 100% but why did you support it by buying it then? This is one of the reasons why I bought the Red Star edition back when I lived in the UK (it`s kinda like CE but in a fancy box you can at least put on a shelf, not sure if it was available world-wide). Still not a great deal (maybe even worse? I don`t know what the price differential was and I am not gonna look it up) but it`s that kind of money I wouldn`t get pissed off about. Just look at the cost of movie tickets, nice food, drinks, petrol... a CE of a game you can play for months/years to come is just a drop in the ocean. And in case your budget is tight enough to feel it you`re not gonna buy a CE of a game in the first place. In: Lobby
Thread: German Sniper9 Nov 2013, 23:57 PM You do not counter snipers. If you kill them it`s either luck (i.e. mortar) or due to mismicro of your opponent. Or if you play soviets get a sniper of your own and countersnipe. Do not reveal your sniper before killing the enemy`s (use hold fire). Also be careful when the german sniper hits vet 1, as his vet 1 ability is really good for killing soviet snipers. In: Red Army Strategies
Thread: CoH2 Patch News!9 Nov 2013, 16:32 PM The real reason why we can`t ever go back to having just 5 archetypical commanders isn`t higher level of complexity and resulting balance issues. That could be resolved (at least theoretically, I am not judging Relic`s capabilities here). The main issue is that such a move would mean abolishing many commanders that a lot of people bought with real money which would create a huge sh*tstorm of rage against Relic, people would call them thieves, demand their money back etc. It`s unthinkable. The second most imporatnt reason is that making new commanders and selling them is a way of making money for the devs/publisher. Moving away from this concept would mean that this money inflow would end. In: Lobby

This list is just brilliant Next time you see pgrens kids, get ZiS-3 and SU-85, that will show them. Also I love the inclusion of ISU-152 and IS-2, judging durability of infantry based on the fact that they can`t withstand fire from these is just genius. Ironically enough, the biggest problem when going pgrens are double snipers and they are missing from the list entirely which I think is inexcusable considering even mines are in there! Thread: CoH2 Patch News!6 Nov 2013, 20:50 PM I just realized there are added achievements on Steam. If you scroll all the way down, you can see they are probably bulletins for new units. For example: KV-2 Heavy Assault Tank - Get 100 kills using a KV2. (Seems like the names of these bulletins aren`t finished yet as they are just names of the units.) In: Lobby
