Imagine if it did major damage, every 90 sec.
It's fine how it is imo. Just shoot in ze damn circle!
I would be statisfied if it did any damage at all... |
I agree with Porygon. Artillery in this patch is underwhelming to say the least.
Especially against ISU/Ele if you wanna do some damage to the surrounding at-guns n mgs. From a distance you won't hit shit and closing in is not a very good idea.
The other problem is the cooldown. It is just too long on both, Katusha and Pwerfer.
I found it good that they reduced the amount of shells fired per barrage on the on map arty, but now they should reduce the price or the cooldown.

Great work ZERO! Thanks! |
One player goes guard/sniper the other 3-4 cons/maxim/zis/ppsh. With this build you should be able to handle grens pretty well, depending on what map you play on.
Use button, at-nades, (mark target) combined with At-guns and tanks to get rid of the Tiger(s) |
Am I crazy or are the LoS's totally borked on Rails and Metal? Had a pretty bad game against ISUs, which I tried to counter with eles but it didn't work because my ele could never get a shot at them. Well not never, but it would frequently have actual LOS against them from it's own scope, yet be unable to fire. I had to practically move it past the mid VP to actually get a shot, which was inadvisable for obvious reasons.
LoS on R&M is bugged in the same way the langres hedges are. attack ground should solve the problem. |

not
cost-effective. |
Semoski is a terrible map, you're supposed to vote it out.
As if it were any better on rails&metal, rzhew, minsk etc.... There go your vetos |
Of course it does. My message was just as provoking as Kronosaur0s's. I was saying it's also possible to flank ISU and was asking why did he state that it's automatically gg wp.
Good luck flanking an ISU-152 in 2v2 on Semoski. |
Bring pryprjet winter n summer back to the 2v2 automatch pool11!!1! Kappa |
I voted no. Not because I think the call-in system is fine, but because I want another solution.
I love the ideas cruzz posted in his thread. Here are his ideas, mixed with some of mine:
1) Make call-in tanks require tech to call in.
2) For Germans, Pumas and STUGIIIEs should require BP2. Tigers and Elephants should require BP3.
3) All soviet call-in thanks should require either T3 or T4 to be build.
4) T34/85 changed to single call-in (the tech requirement would make it overly difficult to obtain these tanks when taking their performance into account).
At the moment I feel most call-in tanks (ISU/ele excluded..) are rather balanced for their price. However, because stock tanks are so expensive to tech to, there is no reason for soviets or germans to tech to T3/T4. You are just shooting yourself in the foot by teching to tanks. You can tech and get a single T34/76 / P4, or, you can spend the same amount of fuel OR LESS and get a vastly superior heavy tank.
With the tech-requirement for call-in tanks, a single T34/76 or P4 would no longer be more expensive than a IS-2 or Tiger. This would make the mid-game much more interesting than the 'spam infantry -> call in (heavy) tanks' 1v1 meta we have now.
+1
I would also prefer this solution. |
