You've also forgot to add the new arty unit. ah thanks. good catch on the kv1. i actually realized i had the wrong stat i just forgot to change it. i did add the 203mm howitzer i just forgot to mention it. i do need to look into the barrage ability more because those numbers dont seem right. the precision strike and direct fire are correct though. Thread: StuG IIIE26 Sep 2013, 23:16 PM Jump back to quoted post26 Sep 2013, 23:09 PMTri86 did you not read my other post Jump back to quoted post26 Sep 2013, 21:54 PMTri86 except it doesn't snipe infantry... sometimes it'll get a clump but that doesn't happen very often. it has the same anti-inf capabilities as the stug g. oh and this thing does not soak up damage. it only takes two hits from a 76mm to destroy it. even guards take out chunks of health with each shot. everything 3 of these can do 1 ostwind can do better. your other post isnt really correct. the stug has a target size of 14 compared to the ostwind which has a size of 22. that makes it harder to hit with AT guns. the stug also has slightly better armor. ostwind does have more hp though, but it costs over twice as much and requires teching. as for its weapon, the short barrel stug has about 1/3 of the distance scatter of the long barrel stug meaning its shots will hit much closer to infantry. on top of that, it has 2.5 AOE compared to the long barrels 1.5. the stug E also rotates 10% faster than the stug G. the stug actually has identical scatter and AOE as the ostwind, so if ostwinds snipe inf, so do short barrel stugs. you should really know stats for the units youre comparing so you can avoid making false statements. Thread: CoH 2 DPS Spreadsheet26 Sep 2013, 22:36 PM just updated the spreadsheet with the new units and todays hotfix. added assault grens and osttruppen (with and without their cover bonus). i havent updated the vehicle specific tables (with shots/time to kill) but the actual vehicle tab now has the stats for the 250 ht, stug E, KV-1 and 53K 45mm. also updated the mg42 and maxim suppression tables. let me know if i missed any changes. EDIT: oh, theres no place currently for me to list this on the spreadsheet, but osttruppen have 48 hp and 1 armor. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Multiplayer # of players searching display26 Sep 2013, 19:06 PM ive read somewhere that the number of players searching was only those in your elo range. anyone know if thats true? perhaps that is causing some of the confusion? if it is true, people might see like 10 players searching and jump to the conclusion that "the game is dead". maybe they could add something like war thunder where it shows how many people are playing multiplayer currently (steam stats include singleplayer) and how many games are currently in progress. as for players dropping based on level, i dont think there is anything that can, or even should, be done to stop this. if people are bad sports and only want to play lower levels, there is no way to really stop them. even if you remove all info from the load screen, you could quickly search for the player and find their rank on this site. im fine with removing the actual number and only showing the faceplate, but this shouldnt be taken any further. Thread: New Commanders / Units discussion 25 Sep 2013, 20:07 PM Jump back to quoted post25 Sep 2013, 19:40 PMundostrescuatro the game might have changed producer or publisher. the promise cant be changed. its a buyer contract. i dont know about american laws, but buyers are protected from stuff like this. there is no law that says preordering at different times cant have different bonuses. people who pre ordered sooner got DoW 2 and that wasnt taken away from them. that would be a different story. when people offer you hats for a collector edition you know you wont get anything extra in the game. you just want the hat. COH2 has no hat. i am sure i did not paid 100 for a pat in the back and a thanks. no, you got 10 commanders, skins, a faceplate, and case blue. you couldve found this out before spending $100. you cant really blame relic for your buyers remorse if you purchased something without fully understanding it. before i preordered, i read the description on steam and never got the impression that i was promised free commanders forever. its unfortunate that some people did.
