ive been noticing some significant input lag lately as well. im not sure when it started, but the servers had pretty much eliminated the problem for a while.
the weird thing about your video is the retreat symbol actually shows up, but they dont retreat. i would think if input lag was your problem, that symbol wouldnt show up. i could be wrong though |
ok 3. the kt has pen issues, i have found. even against mediums. maybe its rng.
only call ins can even bounce the kt. for US, its only the easy eight. for soviets, its kv1, kv2, kv8, is2, and isu. |
my point still stands. A majority USF team in 3v3 and 4v4's need to win in 20min or surrender
have you won a 3v3 or 4v4 as axis yet? |
^^Baaam. Logic argument appears. Forum is inmune to it´s effects. Edit: the post regarding numbers.
it will be ignored entirely. just watch. |
yea they rape them fairly. kt DOES NOT 2 shot mediums, maybe t34/76 in the REAR. it does not matter what it shoots. its COH. BALANCE OVER REALISM.
kt has the same damage as an isu. neither of them 2 shot mediums |
Soviets: You can only build half the units in your army at best, which except 2 (maxim & sniper) all of them are shit compared with axis counterparts. Stupid vet bonuses that doesn't help at all. No infantry play at all except shocks.
USF: All starts involve spamming rifles. Stressful gameplay by knowing that you must win the game in 20 minutes or your lack of heavy tanks and proper AT units will make the lategame a impossible battle to win.
Ostheer: Fun and several strategies to choose from the beginning. Non-doctrinal units are powerful. Although T4 units are good, they don't be used much because doctrinal ones are better.
OKW: Fun gameplay that involves gambling and taking risks placing your trucks. Best non-doctrinal units in the game. Crazy vet bonuses that reward good micro. Sadly, encourages blobbing infantry.
And still people wonders why nobody wants to play allies??
i dont get it. youve played a total of 7 games NOT as soviets. how would you know how fun okw and ostheer are?
by the way, i really like how you consider placing okw trucks to be fun. |
And OKW does have access to AT nades and pfausts. Its in 2 most commonly picked doctrines.
whens the last time you tried to disable a tank with a panzerfusilier?
At vet2 JP gets 10% more armor and extra 160hp, its ROF vet bonuses also are only 10% worse then SU-85 one and JP4 after vet1 will always have first shot advantage(not only talking 1v1, but attacking any armor).
I would also argue the mobility part of SU-85. Its not very mobile, it is compared to elephant, but not compared to JP4.
its rate of fire bonuses are 15% higher, and that requires vet 4 from the jp4. even without vet, its already firing 15% faster.
the su85 does have slightly higher speed and acceleration. given that they have the same max speed bonus, it benefits the su85 more. it also gains 20% acceleration that the jp4 does not. |
The only infantry that can reach over 100% accuracy at some range is...wait for it...vet2 or higher axis infantry. And even there it's mostly just Obersoldaten kars, Grenadiers when supported by an officer, Pgren G43s when supported by officer etc.
the point here is, besides obersoldaten, this requires vet infantry to be buffed by an officer.
soviets can do the same thing with fhqs. non vet shocks, guards (98.5% accuracy without vet), maxim, dshk, and vet penals can all exceed 100%.
then in team games you have vet rifles, m2hb, non vet pathfinders, non vet paratroopers etc. |
The possibility to use other doctrines then the ones with IS-2/ISU/T-34/85 and guards/shocks?
12 of the soviets 19 doctrines have atleast one of the units you just meantioned. of the last 7, you have industry, urban defense, counter attack, partisans, and irregulars. thats not enough options for you?
the only doctrines that really have nothing going for them are nkvd and conscript support |
Except both soviets and Americans need to choose a doctrine with late game units, while Germans can choose a early game doctrine and still have access to late game units.
all those german early game doctrines... care to give some examples besides assault grens?
grens lmg42 which the soviets have no equivalent nor durable enough to hold them off
guards. pretty much the same long range dps once they get their DPs, but with much higher durability at vet 3. now that their armor has been replaced by recieved accuracy you can also merge them to keep your mp drain down. people just like to pretend that soviets have no long range infantry. a guard blob is way more annoying that something like a panzerfusilier blob because you cant even get near it with vehicles. |
