How about the IS-2? I just played a game where I took out a KT from the front with 3 SU-85s. SU-85 has 200 penetration, KT has 425 front armor. "lol but 425 > 200" are you fucking serious right now? I think the point is that you've said that the increased armour of Easy8 doesn't matter, since it doesn't bounce anything. But it can bounce shots from a lot of units, which doesn't make the armour insignificant. As a side note, I find it hilarious that KT has such bad penetration. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Bulletins don't actually stack!?!21 Jul 2014, 10:21 AM Well, I can't find any difference between those bulletins that are stacking with duplicates (like the volks schrecks cost decrease) and the other ones, except that some have "true" as their "exclusive" value in the upgrade file (volks have it set to "false"). That would suggest that most of those bulletins stack. But I might as well be wrong, since I just briefly glanced over the files and the ability for bulletins to stack might be defined in a completely different place than which I've checked. Or other certain unit at vet3? For some units, it does give them "unique" bonuses other factions aren't getting, that's true. And I never said that 5 vet levels isn't an advantage. It does get blown out of proportion often though, like it made all OKWs units 100% stronger from if they only had regular vet levels. And no, this thread probably wasn't the main offender in this regard - it was only at bad place and a bad time for me to read it In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Long match load times18 Jul 2014, 13:52 PM When my computer was about matching yours in it's specs, I was running the game at lowest possible quality to have a decent frame rate and loading times. Even then lockups during the game sometimes happened. CoH2 is just a resource hog, no way to overcome it other than to have a stronger machine I suppose. In: Hardware and Tech

Thread: Company Of Heroes 2 US M1 75mm Pack Howitzer15 Jul 2014, 18:43 PM Soviet tiers don't equal US tiers, so it's not a good comparison I think. As for weapons stats, instead of relying on gut feeling, I'll point you to my site: www.coh2-stats.com or wooof's spreadsheet - you can check the statistics of units and weapons there. To give you some stats for the units you've compared: 75mm pack howitzer has 50% more AoE, and around 16%-23% better RoF than the pm-41 mortar. It does have significantly greater spread though. I'm not saying the unit is fine for it's cost (not saying it's not either), just giving you some resources you might use in the future. In: COH2 Balance

It's 80 vs 100 for auto attack and 160 vs 100 for barrage. Relic's asymmetrical balance I guess. I can agree with the rest of the points, but the two last ones - not really. As of range, I already wrote about it in this post. As for the two other points... do you have stats to prove them? The only big noticeable difference between le.IG 18 and 75mm pack howitzer is that the pack howitzer has setup time - RoF is basically the same. Unless you consider less than 8% RoF difference huge. AoE - try again, 75mm pack howitzer has better AoE damage distribution against infantry, as you can see here and here. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: 75mm Pack Howitzer UP5 Jul 2014, 17:53 PM Funny how you say it's UP, while it has basically the same RoF as the OKW le.IG 18 and the same killing power against infantry (less damage per shell, but larger AoE, so the radius in which infantry is killed is the same as in OKWs gun). And it also has better penetration (85 vs 75) - but the lower damage per shell will make it worse against vehicles anyway. Yes, it has somewhat worse scatter characteristics, but does it really make it suck while the le.IG 18 is borderline OP? In: COH2 Balance

Only related changes I could find were: - they have changed Panzer II Luchs weapon scatter modifier from 1,5 to 1,25 - they have changed moving accuracy modifier for it's weapon from 0,35 to 0,25 (which is actually worse) Maybe less scatter overall but less accuracy on the move actually makes it 25% more effective on the move, but I don't know. Maybe I'm missing something, but couldn't find any other changes. If I hadn't missed anything, I wish they would give us exact changes instead of guesswork like that In: COH2 Gameplay
