I'm pretty sure that the reason it gets canceled is if the unit moves out of range or if the unit enters the minimal firing range ring. This is just what I think happens perhaps I will test it with a friend in a custom game.
It hasn't worked that way for a while. As long as the ability is activated is has a 100% chance to hit the target just like the soviet AT nades, that is unless it gets bugged. |
T-70 and SU-76 switch, while I agree that soviet tiers should be restrictive there is a big problem in that they have no real cohesion within the tiers. Su-76 and T-70 are both made redundant by their tier mates and past tech timing changes. Switching them would give them good cohesion with their while still maintaining the tier's specialized and generalist roles. |
They also need to change the animation so that its more obvious that the ability is actually working. At the moment, a lot of the time you just kinda hit the button and hope to see the engine damage icon after a few seconds. They should just give them the same animation as the gren's rifle nade. |

Ohh i must of got some new ones then lately including:
- USF - White phosphrous barrage.
- SOV - 132mm Katuysha barrage.
Both look cool! I am waiting out for the P-47 strafing run though for ages Wish we could trade them or at least give them way. I have like 7. |
my problem with smoke and blitz is that theres no downside to them. Its a cheap boost with no risk.
Target weak point/target engine etc atleast have a chance to fail, which gives them some risk.
Smoke instantly completely conceals the tank. no drawback, no skill. Blitz gives a free speed boost, no drawback, no skill.
These abilities need to incorporate something along the lines of needing proper timing/positioning to use them. What if blitz for instance had a 3-5 second "wind up time". This would mean you would have to activate blitz with anticipation of whats about to happen.
What if smoke were to just deploy in front of the tank instead of completely envelope the vehicle in concealment? Now the smoke only works if you can put/keep the smoke between the tank and the threat. This would make smoke still useful for falling back, but it doesnt become an instant and easy hard counter to flanks and ambushes
also remeber that the allied tanks bassicaly just get "capture point". Meanwhile button and stuart crew shock had no counterplay and needed immediate nerfs, right? Talk about contradictory. |
For reference the old ones were:
105 artillery(default) and railway artillery for all factions.
P47 rocket run for US,
Incendiary artillery for soviets,
blinding arty for OKW ,
and panzerwherfer barrage for OST
Anything other then those should be new.

So I just remembered that the last big patch added 4 new victory strikes. I haven't gotten any yet. Anyone know what they are? |
No resource strved faction should be resource starved. Don't buff the entire faction just because they need a little more munis early on for the first one schrek. |
