First call-ins need to be attached to tech so that they do not get a large resource advantage over players who tech.
Then fuel upkeep needs to be added to vehicles so that lighter vehicles stay relevant against heavier vehicles.
That's what it will take for the game would be able to be balanced in the late game across all modes

Well I know I Peter started talking about changes when the ZIS got into combat. Maybe there are some changes to it? |
if fixing 4v4 will break 1v1, i would like Relic to not touch 4v4. If you wanna play balanced, competitive match, you should leave 4v4 and go for 1v1 or 2v2. However, some may just want to have fun, then they might play 4v4.
First of all, bro, you should check yourself whether you want simple daily fun or you want competitive hard core fun. Then play the game in a suitable mode(1v1 or 4v4). That's the way I go for a match. Why can't we just find a balance that works for all modes. We just need a equalizing factor that keeps certain units or builds from getting out of hand in the larger modes. Something like fuel upkeep. |
yellow dots mean light cover. No cover has no dots at all. This is correct. No cover brings up no markers. Yellow only comes up if you are mousing over medium cover, but almost everything in this game is medium cover so I could see how he could get that mixed up.
This change would allow players to view how their squad will set up even if there is no cover. Perhaps reducing the chance that players will clump up their squads. |
It's troll like you that kill this good game. Comments like you did are so untrue, so unproductive.
You'd better go play your game mode and let other people who have some friend play with them in team game.
P.S. I would crush you anytime in 1vs1, but your do not worth any second of my time.
G.L.
you should look up the word parody. Maybe I should have added a few smiley faces, but I thought the KT thing would get my point across. |
Well I'm a 1v1 player, and I think 4v4 is for noobs, and relic shouldn't even try to balance it because I personally don't play it. LONG LIVE KT SPAM!!! |
The call for a hellcat is funny. War time M18 where armard with 76mm AT M1A2 gun. The M36 was armed with the 90mm M3 gun. If the later war 90mm M3 gun on the Jackson for the USF in game can not pen the front of a Panther (btw was historically had one of the best front plates of any tanks in the war) then how would a historical 76mm AT m1A2 pen a panther? The hellcat was lighter and faster...but thats it. The Pershing came to late in the war to play a major roll; however, it was armed with a 90mm just like the jackson. Thus how would it theoretically fight better in the game?
BTW......Ik napalms videos, my games were with my good buddy Naplam thank you very much. Furthermore, zooks work great in the game when used in mass and on the weak points of tanks. The combo of zooks/at guns/supporting jacksons does do wonders. Replays can be provided if you need help understanding this concept.
It would be the fastest vehicle in the game. That's reason alone to want to have it. |
I think it's a 3v3, 4v4 issue more than anything. Team games seem utterly broken and have been for a while, I don't know why Relic hasn't addressed it.
It was a 2v2. The OKW player built no vehicles except KT and he built 4 of them. Despite romeo attempting to counter it by spamming M36s and having a large fuel advantage throughout the game he was still having extreme difficulty keeping them at bay.
To be honest, if he was using any other doctrine he would have lost since there would be no P47 to save him. |
Its posted.
http://www.coh2.org/replay/25158/heavy-armor-slug-fest Just watched. M36 deflected off the rear of a KT WHILE USING AT ROUNDS. That's not right, not right at all.
Why is King tiger spam a thing? It shouldn't be a thing. This is why we need fuel upkeep. Every time one died he just replaced it. |
Back in development it was the M10 that was non-doctrinal TD and the M36 was in the armor company commander. Relic switched it because they thought the M10 wasn't enough to counter heavier armor. Keep in mind this was back when the M10 had 45 range and was slower then it is now.
I never liked this. They could have easily made the M10 a competent TD with 60 range, high rate of fire, similiar health to current M36, and automatic access to AT rounds. Then the M36 could have been the US's heavy TD like a lighter, more mobile version of an elephant. God knows allies could use a heavy TD call-in.
Instead they decided to stick with keeping the units crap and leaving us with a meh doctrinal M36 that doesn't really represent it's power and a crappy doctrinal M10 with no real role. One of the many reasons I think relics design team isn't so great. |
