In my cases the best way is none of them (I´m using autohotkeys so I´ve mapped arrow keys with "asdw" keys.
I suffered this issue too, until I´ve set in my autohotkey script a key to turn-off/turn-on my script, so when I need to send a message, I press that key, then my script stop working, then I write & send the message, then I hit again that key so my script start working again....
I´m not at home now, if other mates don´t put here their script with this function, before I arrive home this evening, I´ll post it here mine, just in case it helps you.

I wouldn't say that. If you start falling behind on fuel players can't fall back on AT guns for AT, that is of course if you don't have airborne. LT plus major is very much a keep the lead or else type of build. |

There has been no multiplayer content added in months and people get bored and move on. Once UKF is released there will be a huge spike. No need to worry. |

I set my arrow key to wasd. It really speeds up my ability to give commands. Unfortunately it also means i cant type anything to other players. |
if you lose flak truck, you have to wait 4 mins and pay another 80 fuel to replace it. But for usf units, well ...
You also have to pay to replace it. A flak truck is far more powerful then a single luitenent and USF doesn't have the same variety of units in their initial building to fall back on if they lose it. The USF started out with them losing the building if the officer was killed and testing proved it was a bad idea. |
I would support USF players having to buy the leftenant since every other faction has to buy the tech on top of buying the units that said teching unlocked. Alternatively, if USF players want their free Leftenant squad, then I want a free unit from each tier I unlock as OKW. Oh I'm sorry. Is the giant tank destroying doom cannon not enough. You could have just said wehr or soviets, but you had to bring up the one other faction that gets free shit with tech. |

After all 3 trucks are up: buildable 105mm arty piece. Why should they get a non doctrinal heavy arty when no other faction has one? |

I think we should delay T1 instead of removing luitenent and see how that goes first.
The whole 50 fuel luitenant vs 80 fuel captain is relic from alpha when the captain had all the light vehicles. It makes absolutely no sense for one to be more expensive then the other since neither gives you access to superior units and if anything the luitenent tier is better. 65 for both would be all around more balanced. |
