USF M1919's and BAR mania is insane, especially with the massive complaints against LMG's overrall, but Soviets themselves still dont have realistic LMG's and have to survive somehow in the late game. :/
More LMG's regardless will introduce even more problems than there already are. Ostheer is supposed to use support units to deal with problems, and better promotion of grens with/without helping Ostheer support shuffles the problem around. Anyways, it gets boring just using grens to survive...
thats the problem they overnerfed the daylights out of all ostheer support units and then nerfed the cream of the crop infantry, pgs.
You cant rely on mgs or paks or mortars or flame half traks as support. All you can really do is hold untill you get to t3, which also got nerfed. Practically every unit of ostheer since launch has been nerfed.
Ostheer is bordering on becoming the panzer elite of Coh2. |
You want to nerf the stug e lol. We all saw how it worked before and it was useless. A tank that was as fragile as a half trak, does negligible damage to vehicles that cant kill infantry very well, with 80 percent costs of a tank. This thing is on par with a t34s anti infantry capability, so how is it op? If it cant kill infantry as well as a t34 whats the point of it even existing? |
Tons of people have been waiting for some partisan/irregular buff for much longer, and shit has happened (except a nerf for lols). You cant expect anything more from stormtroopers. They infiltrate and can do a little more if you spend a ton of munitions, but thats it.
If you expected CoH1 stormtroopers, then too bad.
I wasn't expecting coh strom troopers.Specifically because anything ostheer has is a watered down version of coh1 units. But I was hoping for at least elite infantry able to not humilate themselves vs shock troopers 1 on 1. |
Don't understand the hate for this doctrine, it promotes an extremely interesting and exciting kind of play which cutting off your opponent and then using callins to flatten them instead of directly attacking them.
Ostheer non-doc units are pretty good and all the encirclement stuff is an awesome bonus.
I have to admit i never used it only saw a few mates using it horribly. Havent really seen any casts of anyone using it well except for getting to the nuke evrything ability, which mostly ends the game. But mostly because no one uses it.Ill revisit my opinion when someone proves this to be a viable doctrine. |
No one uses them, because they are not overpowered and every single wehr player is jerking off on tigers.
If its not powerful medium, or heavy tank, it will never be a part of meta or even part of competitive play.
Most sov and wehr doctrines only confirm that, while devs prefer to stick their heads in their bums and pretend the problem doesn't exist and spamming heavy armor should have absolutely no downside at all.
Ok so in your opinion a storm trooper squad should not be a tiger or elefant. Thanks for sharing your opinion?...... |
Not everything coming out of buildings has to wreck everything straight away.
Partisans *cough*
(As in, not only übermenschen hid in buildings) The ability to pop out of a building is a poor trade off for the role/combat ability they lost from coh1. Even removing the at will camouflage, they were worth every penny. |
You must be joking. The Stormtroopers are brilliant in their infiltration role, and if somebody fails at using them as line infantry a-la Grens, it's not an issue of the unit/doctrine. So would a pio squad if it could pop out of buildings. Infiltration in coh2 is meagerly useful. |
No one uses storms. They are overpriced grens with expensive not very useful gimmicky upgrades. I was looking forward to storms before release but afterwards was like meh. they should at least be on par with shock troops, but they are overpriced grens.
Plus the doctrine is a pos. A decapping stuka...really.
A neutral point can be capped in no time. Unless you can do 3 of these at a time why would anyone waste munitions on that. A late-game ability that requires luck/tactical godliness to use?(or a brain dead opponent)
This doctrine is on par with the community made defensive doctrine.....which I am still in shock that the "community" could make such a turd. |
Wooden buildings are hardly a problem but stone fortresses in the middle of the map are. Mortars wont even come close to killing it quick because they will miss most of the time and when they hit wont do full damage or do a very small percentage.
Mortar half trak doctrine is such a weak doctrine that if you you are not able to burn the building down you ll be fighting on your heels the whole game. This is a bs ability that comes way too early and has way to many benefits. Healing.reinforce and a defensive bonus?
You can just stay there and reinforce and crawl towards the mg to throw cocktails or while that mg is uselessly pinning one squad youll have plenty of time to cocktail it with another |
FYI, it is satire. If you find it genuinely offensive then I am curious as to why, but nor do you have an inherent right not to be offended. If we all exercised such a right, this forum (and many others) wouldn't exist.
There are several visual and audio jokes in the video. You're really not supposed to take it seriously.
#FreeSpeech (I don't use Twitter, though)
PS: Legit Merry Xmas to all of you.
'childish and retarded' is a great quote, though. I will find an apt use for it.
I find it offensive. The whole punchline is Arabs are stupid idiots. Not even a very good delivery of that punchline. Thats the worst part of it. Racisim when truely hilarious is always ok in my opinion. But when it's just wierd and akward, it's wrong on a moral and a comedic level and should never be tolerated(unless it is really funny). |
