Thread: Assault Grenadiers24 Feb 2015, 17:41 PM `Mech assault is the only ungimped doc. It has inf anti inf anti blob and heavy tanks. All the other docs mostly feel incomplete and a lot of the time the abilities/units don't even work that well together. At the very least docs need to be reworked so abilities makes sense as a whole rather than having a bunch of docs with never used abilities. In: COH2 Balance

Why would that change now? There are better ways to fix it. Those same people are the ones saying how great and fine it is now. It doesn't kill well and it doesn't work well for crowd control, and can barely suppress one charging unit before that units gets close enough to destroy it. On top of that every aspect of its movement is penalized. the traverse time is ludicrous. The insane pack up animation is wtf. Get off the mg, pick up the mg, fold the legs, put the gun over the shoulder, then pivot and stop then run home. You can't dodge a satchel even if you pack up right before it is thrown. It is not a support unit it is a unit that needs babysitting. The mg is supposed to be a force multiplier, but in it's current form you need more units than the enemy. 1 mg and gren vs 2 rifles will 90 percent of the time mean you retreat or die. Suppression, traverse, aim time, set up time, is all horrible and makes this thing barely useful.Add smoke and fire up and it takes loads of micro to get any use other then a minor annoyance with it. Thread: Relic PLS stop the BLOBS18 Feb 2015, 00:49 AM The root cause of the current blobbing meta is nerfing the stank out of mgs and effective early vehicles and then cutting the balls off all arty. The main reason for not blobbing was because your whole force could be destroyed/pinned easily, but now they can move almost with impunity. In: COH2 Gameplay

Yea, sure you can make your own commander but you have only low CP, and useless abilities so you must use defualt ones. Point is, it should be very, very hard to get all abilities you want. the grind is never fun. Plus that puts players who play and play and play at an advantage over more casual players. In: Lobby

I can picture it now : "Korps supplies overstretched III: +3 points cost to include in loadout, comes 1CP later" "Abundant equipment: -1 point cost to include in loadout, comes 1CP earlier, ability costs 15% less ammo to use" This would effectively let the community balance the commander abilities and ensure no ability is ever overpowered (unless Relic has another one of their DEEEERP TIGUR ACE!!11 moments). The more an ability is overused, the more expensive it will become, until even its OPness will not be enough to justify its inclusion and people will start dropping it from their loadouts, thus stabilizing its cost in a sort of supply / demand market graph. Example 1 Infantry Call in, 1 Tank call in, 2-3 Muni abilities. And probably have an associated cost to their level. Example no more than 1 Legendary or 2 Rares. That sort of thing. At least if they are smart. I think 1 inf/med tank and one heavy tank should be the limit. Tanks like jagdtiger, tiger ace, elefant and isu, should take up both tank allowances. In: Lobby
