Mines and sandbags win games.
In fact i like mines field,once i got billions of ammo and not have place to use,here comes the mine field.sandbags i only build one at the beginning of the game for my maxim,if i build too more,they are for german players but not mine
AND scale problems for balance are beyond even severe,different scale like different games,but seems relics only cares about 1vs1 balance |
The Ostwind's shells will easily collide with any yellow and green cover objects, such as crates, fences and cars, that are anywhere in between the vehicle and the squad, and not deal any damage. The Centaur does not really suffer from this.
Also, not sure what level you're playing on, but at the higher levels most players build sandbags literally everywhere they can.
are 8 to 16 level players normal or 17 to 20 level players normal,you decide.i'm just a normal 4vs4 16 level russian player,and my enemy or teammates do not often make sandbags,even mines.as to "crates, fences and cars etc.",1vs1 and 2vs2 are more likely to see,in 3vs3 or 4vs4,when ostwind comes,none of them likely continue to exist |

The Ostwind's main gun uses scatter and AOE to deal damage. Shells that roll a 'miss' and scatter will collide with any terrain and objects they encounter on their way to the target.
The Centaur's main gun uses accuracy and hits to deal damage. Shells that roll a 'hit' will not collide with terrain and objects.
So yes, the Ostwind's shells will collide with terrain and objects way more often than the Centaur's shells.

You utterly forget that the ostwind rounds colide with anything and everything. There are many situations where the ostwind will not land a single hit because of terrain . The centaur does not have this problem... Negative.only 88mm AT and APCR-MOD 17 pound gun has the ability to avoid terrain |
So because one stat is lower than that of a unit from the opposite faction you think this alone makes it unbalanced? How about all the other attributes of these squads?
This is a game where asymmetrical factions fight each others so you can't compare one attribute in a vacuum without taking into account the other attributes AND all the other units and the combined arms that each faction can field as a whole.
well,for other attributes.it takes 0 ammo for assault grenadiers to get 5 updated mp40 and only 45 ammo for volkgrenadiers to get 5 updated mp40,with somke unlock and fragmentation unlock and survivability increment while conscripts need 60ammo to get THREE without any other effects.WOW,even more balanced. |
nebelwerfer is a panzerwerfer? and are those aoes and damages correct? im pretty sure katys have more aoe dmg and range. if your stats are correct then balance needs to happen all information from coh2 tools,you can get from steam |
