Yeah there are still some sound bugs, the other one is when you build ostheer t3 and the guy says, "medium armor and rocket launchers available". This probably comes from before the panzerwerfer was moved to T4. |
I didn't have one alive long enough to notice they had that ability!
Lol yeah I have rarely used it, but i think it can be quite strong. I once(previous patch) had a vet 3 stug, saved my ass when the guy base rushed me with t34's. Stugs can really eat t34's alive, and they are quite tough when vet 2, soo curious what will happen now vs the su85! They also have added sexyness when the armor skirts come at vet 2 |

Yeah baby thats what im talkin' bout! I couldnt play yet cos in my timezone patch happened bad time, and at work now.. I would love to see vetted stugs take su85 on. And you can field a stug quite quick, so you can kill some light vehicles to give it vet hopefully before you engage the su85.. Also, remember to use the target weak point ability! |
Stug still sucks in the games i've played with it, i mean i nearly killed a SU-85 but it still the stug is no match at all...
Well i guess if it almost killed the su85, thats good? I mean it is a bit cheaper? Was the stug vetted? |

Can someone explain to me what these mean? Does it mean that the Stuka will exclusively strafe in the barrage radius i.e. not across the whole map? Will be a good change. And i assume loiter means "hover" which just improves visuals so it looks nicer when you rotate screen to see stuka coming from edge of the map?
Think they fixed stukas killing infantry(even on retreat), but still provides some good area denial for a decent time. Quad 50's will also take em out quicker now.
Also i'm very glad to hear that T70 will now not always snipe retreating squads, and be less effective vs moving squads. (PQ's comment) I.e. pgrens chasing it will also be a little less likely to be hit. I was concerned about it (thought it was a straight buff) but as pq said, T70 will be slightly worse if you keep your infantry moving and/or retreat in time.
I really hope the stug is more surviveable now, we will have to see in game. Would love to see its range buffed to match that of su85 in stead but meh.
The HMG changes are great, since flanking is encouraged and no more troll rolling up. Maxims will still be effective if they flank the mg42.
Too bad brummbar is still so expensive, but i might consider buying one now.
And lastly, how does relief infantry work, do you have to lose your entire squad, or does it work like the medic bunker in vCoh? |
They should really fix the su85 sniping its own counter though. (pgrens and even paks)
Last night I had a vet 2 pgren squad attack an unsupported su85 and it sniped 2 guys with the first shot. Infuriating. Its about it's scatter and angle values being too good, Ace posted about this in another thread. |

Problem is, you'll do the anti tank mines once against a good player. Then they'll get sweepers. Now what do you do when he uses a sweeper + SU-85 combo?
Hell he could use M3's to clear out "Expensive" mines for very little cost.
true true.. Although even pro players sometimes hit mines. Maybe you kill his sweeper, or he doesnt expect it. It isn't infallible but i think it might work. |
