Oh, i was trying out how effective the railway cannon was. I think i spent up to 200 fuel for that. Definately a bad call in artillery, takes way too long to land. ^^ GG WP anyhow, tried to play tower defence here
I have to agree with those supporting the notion that 1 CP Shocks should be changed immediately, the fact that they can come out so quickly and tear through grens like scissors through paper is stupid for the early game.
The traditional narrative you describe is there for a reason. Even late in 1945 the Germans were organizing effective counter attacks that the Soviet army was struggling to defeat. The German army was a better unit, and would have won the war for Germany had Hitler not intervened multiple times at critical moments. In addition, the Soviet army did win by brute strength, tactics were difficult to teach to mostly illiterate peasants.
The biggest issue is that Germany went into a two front war, and thus it's logistics got hammered and weapons, ammo and tanks had issues getting out of Germany to the Soldiers needing them. For example, only every 1 of 3 StG's that got produced (including MP44 w/e) reached the frontline.
He actually didn't spam shocks at all until you forced him too. Plus...going Elite and bunker spamming.....what were you afraid off? LOL. With 2 Panthers and Elite Grens to boot. What should he have done. Made some paper t 70's or T 34...?? Mixed troops, throw in some mortars to fight off those Panthers?
I don't get bitching about "noob" spam when you win a game....just don't get it.
I played some guys that literally spammed 4 pg squads and almost won doing so if not for Soviet strafe and B4. I killed a Tiger with one hit...although it was a tad damaged...
HOI...just be the better man and move on instead of pride posting wins....where you clearly dominated. Had you not used Elite....it would have been more impressive.
Roman always spams Shock Troops, without them hes pretty darn bad.
The problem is, lobbies shrink the player pool even more. It was impossible to get ranked 3v3s/4v4s in vCoH because everybody who played those modes made lobbies and kicked anyone that was too good or too bad. The best part of CoHO was being able to find a 3v3 on Red Ball in like 3 minutes. It was great.
CoH2's playerbase is just too tiny. I think it's smart to limit the ways to find games currently, because it forces everybody into the same pool of players and makes finding games a lot quicker. When you only have a few thousand people playing your game at any given time, and when the majority of those players are playing campaign or AI skirmishes, you need to avoid fragmenting the playerbase as best as you can.
TL;DR^ Splitting up the community right now would just make CoH2 more dead.
