Yes the win rate is high in 4vs4s for the OKW. But (!!!) there are ways to defeat them in early game and spamm your pretty t34s or kattys until you rape their base.
The answer to this dilemma as Soviets is very easy: get t1, make a penal battalion, then the cute half-truck followed by another penal bettailion. By this time you have enough ammo to afford one flamethrower. Put the penal flame bettailion in the cute half-truck and ride around with this flame of doom. Murder their first sturmpio squad or filthy kubelwagen.
A sturmpio + kubelwagen combo murders the Soviet scout car. And any decent player will keep those two units together.
I liked playing like this back when I first started playing CoH1 multiplayer as Brits, but it's a way of playing that you just don't get far with. It can be fun when you start out, and get you some success on the lower levels, but there's a reason there are no high level players who play like that
