*Disclaimer*
I'm not in the beta, I'm saying what I saw in the streams or what the staff members officially said. What I say here doesn't go against the N.D.A. what so ever.
The problem with the beta is that it isn't a good test for commanders, perhaps for overall balance, but not commander balance. This is because the beta testers have access to other new commanders, which prevents them serious testing vanilla commanders vs New Payed Doctrines. This is why the new doctrines are so effective against the vanilla doctrines.
It's not only that but the dev team just constantly add new gimmicky units or abilities that just ruins some aspects of the game. Buying vet was a horrible idea, soviet industry possesing many features into one ability was a awful idea (perhaps just give the extra vehicle speed deployment, don't give 3 abilities into one), and tiger ace which needs to be placed at CP 8 since it should be a last resort or that breakthrough tank like the Tiger Ace from vCoh days before it was changed into king tiger.
Instead they should add abilities similar to Zeal, for the fatherland, or just propaganda. All of these abilities had one function for certain type of units. Why can't they develop simple abilities but useful in situations. You can argue that, "For the Motherland" had that approach, but the major flaw was that it costed 150 munitions before the patch and it's downsides outweighed it's advantages unless your playing a winter map. These abilities need to be simple, not expensive and primary used for early game usage.
Also, Petitions don't do anything, I mean absolutely nothing. The only way to halt the p2w doctrines is to not buy them. Yes they may seem tempting and OP at first, but they do that to attract impulsive buyers. Sega obviously is forcing Relic to do this, they pull off the same crap with the Total War series. Sega requires their customers to pay for gore in Rome 2, that's how ridiculous Sega is.
Also these doctrines and Theater of Wars are overpriced as well. The individual theater of war costs 10 bucks for 6 missions. That's 1/6th of the god damn full retail price, yet idiots are buying this. These missions should cost 5 bucks total at most. If you buy the 4 commanders with the DLC missions it will cost you 26 bucks, even though opposing fronts, a true expansion, came with 2 campaigns that had a good story, cut-scenes, and they lasted from 3-4 hours each, and 2 new factions that came with 6 doctrines.
Vote with your wallet, boycott these commanders if you want to see a change. Maybe it will open Sega's eyes, and then they may realize that they don't want to suffer the same fate as Capcom.
