Holy shit. the guy at 1:12 takes a major spill through that window.
I agree it would be nice to see. Units riding on tank should be subject to any damage dished out when the vehicle rolls over a mine, should take damage from any shreck shot (as well as tank being damaged) if the tank fires while they are sat on it they should automatically disembark but with some sort of penalty (a-la crew shock crit). Would probably take too much work but would be fun too see
Although ,right now, I really love that phase of the game where there's a couple of T34s and Panzer IVs on the field and one wrong move on either side can see em get their asses kicked.
IMPO, I think a few of the maps are a bit too big to see any prolonged infantry engagements carry through into the late game. And I also think maps like Road to Kharkov are way too much of a meatgrinder to be able to compare their early games to that of VCoh.
I am really interested to see what comes out of the community when the worldbuilder is released. Perhaps experimentation with map sizes/ layouts will affect the (competitive) meta in some similar ways. Have to wait and see I guess..
I would not be surprised if Relic adds a new unit that can be upgraded in many different ways, like the OP describes. Something like the Partisans from the campaign, maybe.
Penals. It would be a really nice way of killing two birds with a single (Molotov?) bring them into the meta and increase Sov non-doctrinal infantry options.
what a fucking great vehicle design. If it could be replaceable with the Su76 in the same respect as the Hellcat was to the M10(-misfires not withstanding-). Then I would honestly buy that as DLC.
