That video was a joke, because the player just had to back up to keep his front armor shown and never even attempted to. while I agree that the tanks could have win if the player had use any micro, you generally don't expect a 210 mp 15 fuel unit to be even capable of harming a tank. It's like if you made Easy Eights stock and buildable without a commander. the churchill is a good deal weaker than the tiger. The 75mm is decent but nowhere near the firepower possessed by the 88mm. Until PIATs are actually useful in some way, Brits need all the soft counters for light vehicles they can get. vickers are questionable vehicle counter anyway. a mg42 with the vet 1 abilities completely outclass a vet 2 vicker in terms of anti-vehicle capability. Nobody seemed to advocate this when the AEC was running rampant. Also adding an AT nade to UKF changes the entire dynamic on how you fight this faction the schreck can hit moving vehicles. Thread: M26 Pershing Performance wise?29 Feb 2016, 11:06 AM the fact that the USF's most durable tank is still comparatively a glass cannon is why the faction's late game meta is dependent on their terminator veterancy. it feels like the USF rifleman is the only US unit allowed to be durable. Everything else is just glass. The USF's meta is eternally stuck at rifle spam because everything else are stuck being glass cannon. In: COH2 Gameplay

With the churchill and comet being both expensive generalist tank, the Firefly should be a cheaper anti-tank support. In: COH2 Balance

I like the fact that brits don't have spammable tanks but tanks that can go toe-to-toe with axis tanks. They already went the wrong way with Churchills by toning done armor and health. It's fluffy USP is a gun that can pen German heavies. Takes a whole 2 minutes to mod and afterwards the FF feels "proper". pure tank hunters like the firefly should be reasonable affordable, and 440mp 155 fuel is not affordable. an affordable tank hunter give the faction a fallback unit against armor spam. The wehr have stug, us have jackson, soviet have the su76 and su85, and the okw have the jagdpanzer and puma. an overly expensive specialized unit like the firefly are not really that useful. even the jagdpanzer 4 is still within reasonable price range.
