But I guess this is balanced by the fact grens get lmg's much sooner without any penalties. As bar's/MG hit sooner that long range advantage becomes unimportant very soon. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Should Osttruppen really be buffed? 1 May 2021, 13:10 PM 1 change that could work but would be controversial is that, make Osttuppen really hardy but very shit at doing damage. They can't win vs other infantry at any Range but it takes a lot of time to actually kill them. Maybe increase their Armor from 1 to 1.5 lower their RA from 1.25 to 1.0 and remove their cover based combat bonus. Adjust so they still don't win vs anyone at any range but it takes kind of an unreasonable about of time. In: COH2 Balance

I don't think there's anything to suggest a Shock Army had more SMGs than other armies. The main point of a Shock Army was to be fully equipped by itself for attacking enemy armies and breakthrough, by reinforcing them with more armored and artillery assets than other armies. The new line-up represents that. From a gameplay perspective having SMG mainlines in the same commander that already has an SMG elite is simply redundant. AVD is there now as a useful tool, but mostly to balance out the strong combo of premium medium + elite infantry + strong offmap. Sander any chance to Return the IL2 loiter to any doc. There is only 1 doc with that ability now. Where's OST have 3 commanders with JU87 loiter. It would also be pretty good to remove loiters from OST as well. In: COH2 Balance

Maybe their stg's could have their damage dropped from 5 to 4 which would make the dps go from 15.5 to 13.4 (0-5) which is around the same value(13.8 @ 0-10) as Assault Engineers. But with 0.8 RA instead of 0.9 of Ass Engies. In: COH2 Balance

The nerf to spotting scopes was warranted but it's kinda been compensated with the addition of Mobile Observation Post to the AT mine. I think the AT strafe should be removed from the commander. An idea could be to replace that with Breakthrough Equipment. Blowing up cover fits the theme of helping spot for the Elefant but it would probably still be weaker than the AT strafe. Or just replace with something even weaker but in general this commander is way to overpicked in team games and needs a substantial change. I say replace AT strafe with heat round like ability for p4's and Panthers. For muni cost more pen more damage. And this would also fit Jaeger Armor(hunter tank) better. In: COH2 Balance
