Dont want to answer everything, since this can continue for ages with this counter aurguments. I will just say, that PFs represpent a good excample of what volks should have been.
Their 80muni G43 comes slitghtly later then STGs, make unit truly flexable at all ranges without butchering any of them and, unlike volks, G43 PFs are usefull during the whole game. And they also hit their top early with that 80muni upgrade, but because upgrade is actually have an thought put behind it, its suddenly make squad usefull untill the end of the game.
PFs benifit from all other OKW advantages, but they are just a plain good designed inf squad, with good designed upgrade. But OKW having good mainline inf doesn't make them suddenly OP or broken, considering unupgraded PFs perform rufly the same as volks, if not wost, early on.
Imagine having to justify how broken Panzerfusiliers are by exhalting them being all range squads and calling it a “good design”. The bias of some people here is sickening. |
The more I think about the more I am convinced a crew repair ability should be added. If its going to exist as a shitty less health, less armored slowass, no interesting/useful abilities heavy it AT LEAST should be able to take care of itself and not require 2xRE babysitters.
Exactly, it’s absurd that it should require 2 REs to babysit it all game for repairs. |
I'd nerf the Pershing's speed and anti infantry, up the price to 240 fuel, give it a crew (preferably elite for better repairs or KV1 treatment with less HP and damage reduction modifier) and make it a regular heavy tank without a limit.
It's too late in the game's development at this point though, so no chance this happens. |
what a strange drop.
why sega dont cut a new trailer at least 4k/60fps with max settings.
Agreed on the sudden drop at the end, it was weird.
There's no 4K on youtube until corona is gone. It's limited to 720p across the globe. |
Give Pershing a free crew repair ability. |
Assault (sprint), secure and then hold (building fighting positions and mines), it works that way.
But sprinting with M1919s doesn't.
Don't care whatsoever, it's called rifle company, not sprinting company. It's allowed to have non-mobile elements to it.
Sprinting and M1919s would work very well together to control space and positioning. I'd be very much in favour of this change. |
6man rifles is the kind of dumb idea that gave birth to the absolute abomination that is 6man G43 Fusiliers. |
I don't think Rifle should have m1919s. The M1919s require you to be stationary. The commander is built around highly mobility thematically.
True, hence why it includes the highly mobile rifleman field defenses. |
I'm aware of the Osstruppen trouble in 1v1, but I don't see much gain in those changes. The cost increase seems negligible (player has to float anyway because of the recharge timer) and adding 10-20s to the the recharge timer itself would force the player to float 350-410 manpower after building an HMG 42 before being able to deploy their first Osttruppen squad. Those sound respectively like inconsequential and overnerfing changes to me on first sight, especially when combined with the T1/BP1 switch, but I don't play 1v1 or Osstruppen so correct me if I'm wrong. Otherwise I'd be happy to try them.
The reason I recommended the Master League discord is a lot of players had interesting perspectives on Osttruppen in the players chat which could be useful. |
I'd prefer to try the T1/BP1 fuel cost switch first, as that would hopefully solve several issues at once (amongst which Osttruppen into PGren/LV rush), before touching too many things at once.
The entire playerbase on the Master League discord was in an uproar about Osttruppen a few days ago. I recommend you have a chat with the top players there about their perspective on Osttruppen.
