They are cheaper then partisans and fight incomparably better, while also scaling decently well into late game with their vet and upgrade. You can count on osttruppen. Yes really, you can! One of my main commanders is the Ostruppen doctrine. Love the Pak/MG airdrop for 400 muni, and the artllery field officer with 3 lmg Ostruppens can bring a very nasty surprise for Allied mainline infantry. The only thing I hate about the doctrine is the railway artillery. You know what I wish the doctrine had? The Flammenpanzer Hetzer 38. That would make it an absolute badass doctrine. I also wish the defensive doctrine could be reworked. The HMG bunkers suck for what they do at 320mp. In: COH2 Balance

Wait for Stugs, then either a Ostwind/Panther for armor. Panzerwerfer in the end game for indirect fire. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Brit (non-doc) tools to delete OKW HQs are ridiculous29 Apr 2020, 13:40 PM With OKW, I've always tended to be careful with my trucks; keep the main buildings at spawn, and occasionally Panzer Command protecting my cutoff. Guys will still likely opt Pgrens because of the Stgs though. Why couldn't Grens get an Stg upgrade after all Tiers are built? Make that 60 muni. In: COH2 Balance

I wouldn't use it in typical 1v1 automatches (too slow, long reload, fragile), but it was great as a spectacle. Honestly, I'd rather have a call in Brummbar Ace, or something like that. Thread: Top players boycotting grens in the tournament.20 Apr 2020, 10:43 AM It just makes good sense. Ostruppen have fausts to snare and a 6 man squad. Better survivalbility against light vehicles, snare, then Pgrens coming in to finish the job. You can also create a blob of Ostruppen with LMG42's, and have an artillery officer use inspiring aura to make them pretty formidable. In: COH2 Gameplay
