Give me a Panther that has better AT and survivability and a pintle that also gives it better AI. ~~Churchill / Crocodile? Gimme dat.~~ ... Play Axis then. You seek the wrong unit role or performance. Firefly? Give me a Jackson that has better rof and speed and is effective without being a muni sink. That doesn't mean we can't buff other aspects of the unit and make it better so losing the aura doesn't render the unit unusable The aura is not OP as far as CPz4 is not a dominant tank but rather one that stays behind others. It is hard to counter, but its not OP. The fact that Axis tanks are durable and the aura buffs them just enough to help them taking an extra hit does not make it OP either. CPz4 is meant to guide the player towards vehicle superiority, sacrificing other commander options. The aura does the exact same thing that USF has for early infantry, they have stock premium infantry and then doctrinal options make that advantage even bigger, wether that be necessary or not, its there to secure a playstyle. Same goes for UKF emplacements commander and the simcity cancer we all know. --- CPz4 boost the already strong point of a faction, just that. It can be discussed to be balanced in the current meta, but with some real facts rather volatile opinions In: COH2 Balance

Rangers had 10% reduction just on themselves and that was deemed OP. ... Inaccurate. Rangers damage reduction was removed to normalize infantry, not because of it being OP. So they did with SU sniper, dev's made it 1 man,, to set up some patterns for new players go get the game mechanics. Unless every become a stats bookworm and read every single patch note they wouldn't notice there was a damage reduction on rangers In: COH2 Balance

Finally pak s not as easy to cou te as you describe, because you sound like you always have resources, but mostly important it how damaging is pak howie vs its owner faction and costs. Usf really dislikes to pay that much of MP but since mp is a free resource, you only wait for it. We all know that pak is vulnerable but the rest of units in a well played formation hardly is as vulnerable. In: COH2 Balance

I dismissed it at first as unlucky rng but after many tests rangers overperform. By game design usf infantry is meant to be superior to a point. At the beginning not too much and then mid to lategame the same squad with vet should carry the game. Other squads would be specialists so one is enough unless your enemy were massing a single unit, risking their game in that movement. In: COH2 Balance
