The ability could become a homing AT grenade that blinds vehicles/disables weapons and damaged USF crews. I think Obers have access to this very same nade, no? Would that mean that they would get vehicle blinding capabilities too? Also I don't like this idea due to the ever growing complexity. Takes a year to learn what all abilities do already. Thread: On the M4A3E831 Oct 2019, 23:28 PM I only use E8 on maps or in places where I can't fight with Jacksons because of short fighting distances (Eindhoven ruins). Pintle MG upgrade is absolutely necessary to compensate for the otherwise poor AI (main gun). It's not a bad tank at all with decent armour and the damage breakdown making it a 5-shot kill, but the penetration is not enough to fight anything heavy and the AI capabilities are not the selling point either. Tbh I still prefer E8 over T34/85, but neither of these tanks is quite as important as other doc abilities like calliope, IS2, arty, elite infantry, etc. E8 would be decent choice in 1v1 as it doesn't get pushed around by P4s and an enemy would actually need a Panther, which takes some popcap and is not very good vs infantry as well. Forcing infantry to be on the move all the time advantages CQC infantry even further and is counterproductive to discouraging blobbing. Agreed with Stug Life, mortar is a tool that should be used vs static infantry or team weapons. Denying enemy cover with mortar barrage makes sense and is part of combined arms synergy. Imho reduce the barrage scatter on the 2nd and the following shots. 1st shot can be as is now, if enemy decides not to move his HMG, he will suffer from the consequences of the following mortar barrage shots being more precise. Players should be encouraged to use barrage over autofire, barrage cooldown reduction could help a bit too. In: COH2 Gameplay

Churchill is less of a problem now as comet is finally an attractive choice so many Brit players pick Hammer tech. In: COH2 Balance
