Thread: COH2 winter balance mod - discussion24 Jan 2020, 20:13 PM Having huge true sight range and 60 range TD nondoctrinally is a powerful combo. SU85 has to heavily sacrifice mobility to get a very narrow cone of vision and it's worth it 90% of the time. T70 needs to be highly vetted and on the frontline to get less vision than any other tank with spotting scopes, same applies to M20 and 222. Brits can use sniper in cover for vision or vet pyroIS in cover on the frontline. Only the OKW maphacktrack was bugged and unfair giving lots of information for low cost stock. Changes proposed to IR HT are a move in the right direction. If it is going to continue sweeping the area, the true sight range could be far, if it's going to be giving static true sight in cone in front of uhu, its range should be ~70, no more. It's stock, cheap, doesn't require vet to function and has good synergy with JP4 or Jagdtiger. In: COH2 Gameplay

I still think that For Mother Russia will be OP, especially with Penals who will run and gun wipe squads on retreat. +50% accy bonus is no joke. Other than that all the changes are good. Please, beware of letters assigned to each icon in the box. Per my info, position in the box is supposed to corelate to letter on the keyboard, so top left will always be Q, bottom right will always be V. As for now it seems that in T0 UC and medics are the other way around (R vs E) and in T1 instead of QWER in the top line we have QRWE. 3. Vehicles with low range or less threatening guns put on it, there's less need of a change. I can see the current KV2 lose some armor due to how the unit was reworked to be. On the fence with KV1-KV8-Churchill. IF it was me, i'll rather have mediums have a higher point blank (>5 range) penetration while keeping the current values from 5 onward. 5 is drastic-close for tank gameplay imho. Lago's proposal of point blank mechanic for tanks (long time ago) is a good way to make mediums less helpless vs heavies. Heavies are too efficient at killing regardless of medium state tbh, especially when vetted. Just a moment ago I saw a top lvl 2v2 game with OKW Tiger with 87 kills. In: COH2 Balance
