Yeah it's not 2015 anymore. This is easily the worst (or hardest to play) faction in the game right now since they sorely lack a good infantry unit. That good infantry unit at one time was the Infantry Section. It was important for that unit to be scalable and excel throughout the game because it was really all the faction had. The stats were wreaked over that last few patches and here we are. In: COH2 Gameplay

Good God, this faction already has had the worst tech tree of them all and snares are hard to come by for USF and UKF, but it seems like every Axis infantry unit gets it just because. Thread: Brit Paratroopers9 Sep 2020, 02:17 AM It'd be nice to see British Paratroopers using Enfields and a 6 man sqaud. After a series of unending nerfs the faction currently has no effective infantry whatsoever, so it would be nice for Brits to have something that could compete with stuff like 5-man Grens, Fallschrimjagers, and so on. Also it would look cool to see the airlanding officer skin used for that sqaud. In: COH2 Balance

I always do well when I play usf vs an okw player since you can easily close the gap and get close to a volk squad early with rifles and watch said volk squad melt. I know Volks and Grens usually come up short against Infantry Sections and Riflemen. But those aren't the only infantry available to OKW or Wehrmacht. For OKW specifically you have Strums, which are like Panzergrens and are T0, then you have Obersoldaten. Riflemen can do okay against Strums early but IS will struggle. Plus Riflemen and IS don't have a single ability that you don't have to pay, vet, or pick a doctrine to unlock. So just a little bit of extra map control and you'll be way ahead. In: COH2 Balance

You lose Pershings to a PG squad when the Pershing gets nerfed to hell because no one in this community cares that much about USF. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: OKW vs UKF6 Sep 2020, 01:49 AM Your infantry units are far more cost effective than your opponents and preform better, so start with that. The standard infantry available to both Axis factions is vastly superior to what the USF/UKF have. Only Soviet Penals are comparable. In: COH2 Balance
