That doesn't matter when despite that, they are an overall better unit than more expensive later arriving units. I don't care if it's one guy with one F42, if he's killing Ranger sqauds who cares, no reason for him to arrive earlier. To follow up. I personally liked the way that they were. The 4 FG42s without the need of an upgrade was cool especially when it came to recrewing weapons. But they just had to get rid of that. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Rifle Company Should have the M191911 Oct 2020, 21:57 PM If this doctrine is supposed to be focused around the standard infantry units it would make sense to give it the M1919. The flare I don't really like that much because its kind of redundant to the Major's air recon. But having the M1919 making the Riflemen better for "Rifle" Company to me makes sense. Keep the 4 FG42s because those are cool. Get the snare back, weaken the received accuracy some, and put them back to CP3. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: M8 Grey Hound - Recon Company11 Oct 2020, 18:00 PM I play USF by far the most, I have used the Greyhound once, maybe twice. It doesn't seem to make sense as a unit. It's no match for a Puma or Luchs. It doesn't seem THAT good at AI, certainly not as good as the M15AAHT that can supress and take on some light vehicles. It has smoke (I think) and can drive up to MGs to provide concealment for advancing infantry, but so does the M20 and it's way cheaper. In: COH2 Balance

Did you know it's range is not reduced with suppression? If there's a bunker or mg in a building holding an area the major can nuke it away as is. Don't need to do so from an uncountable range. It's a cool ability but it's not THAT good. It's strong, but I'd hardly call it "super" strong. The Brit Infantry Section artillery abilites are better. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Is the USF CPT weaker than the LT?11 Oct 2020, 17:51 PM I'm not talking about in terms of the tech tree unlocks I'm talking about the combat abilities of the actual sqauds. The LT has the LT model with the Thompson plus four Riflemen models with Garands. He also gets the pineapple grenade and smoke when the tech is unlocked. The CPT is similar except obvious stuff like no access to frag grenades and the "on me" ability. But I noticed he gets two Riflemen models plus two RET models with Garands. I've wondered if those two RET models are actually weaker than Riflemen models even though they're both armed with Garands. It feels like the LT fares better in engagements than the CPT. The CPT won't stand up to Strums but the LT will. Maybe it's my imagination. On a side note, I wish both had AT snares. In: COH2 Balance
