I think 125-150 muni to drop smoke and have 1/2 second of sight to drop an offmap from a teammate that you're communicating and coordinating with should make Vaz happy |
I just played two games of wehrmacht, in one my friend made only machine guns and a-moved them in a group
in the 2nd game we both spammed machine guns on redball. Enemy made flame clown car, got gunned down by machine guns. Didn't make infantry until 20 minutes in, still held the line, unlike the okw randoms i had.
Whats my conclusion? this faction permits for absolutely braindead playstyles and its amazing, i cant even afford the broken doctrines

AI is bad ye but still a million times better than every other AT gun except Zis... like whats the point of that argument?
Its rate of fire is very good, has camo and a little bit AI; what exactly do you want from a 240mp AT gun? Why do you want to change a viable unit thats not utterly broken?
I dont care if its useless in teamgames, not every unit has to be viable in every game mode as long as it has a place in one of them. Otherwise i want massive ISU, Ele, pak43, Lefh, B4 and 17 pounder buffs for 1v1

Panzergrenadiers should be built from tier 2 like they used to, not a single reason for that buff existed but the insightful dev team did it anyway

The P4 does the job of a Sherman better than a Sherman, I'd rather pay the prices for a p4 than a Sherman. Additionally the p4 comes out earlier than the Sherman often times and by default has better pen and with vet armor than the Sherman, ironically the unit its historically supposed to beat.
The pintle Mg + Coax + main gun of the p4 makes it an all around better medium tank both for AT and AI, the moving accuracy differences (which IIRC) is the major factor for the sherman which is offset by the p4's vet . Factor in the vet 2 armor (or pre installed for OKW) and you simply get a better unit that scales better with team games and later game.
The Sherman for its cost I'd say hedges 10 fuel too expensive but its not THAT bad but not really outstanding or remarkable, just mediocre leading you to go for more reliable units > Jackson, E8, 105 or holding for Pershing.
