Currently

-Flame halftrack have twin flame thrower which is early vehicle but have longer range and more damage than late game tank like KV8,chocodile.

-Its burn damage are extreamly high.

-Its flame also do damage to light vehicle(scout car,UC).

-have one hit kill light vehicle anti tank mines.

-have good mobility with low hit box and immune to small arm fire.

compare to UC flame thrower that has very low damage,bad mobility.

I think this unit should be nerf in some way.

And yet it rarely makes an impact . Most ally LV´s make very short work of it. Dangerous as the flammentrack is to the unprepared against the standard allied meta its not that great .The mine is doctrinal btw.

It dies with two shots from any allied AT Gun. It can easily be snagged and has terrible pathing.

It is an extremely strong unit, I would also agree with nerfing it. I think a mobility nerf once the upgrade pops would be a good change.

It can lay stock schu mines. It only needs a doctrine pick for the riegel mines.

Schu mines don't oneshot lights, though.

but costs 30 muni and the teller 1shots vehicles instead

and riegel mines completely IMMOBILIZE tanks, saw a poor kv-1 hitting one, and then getting slowly poked to death by a single pak-40

In my 2k or so games with ,,top tier,, players I actually never saw a flame HT to have some kind of an imporant impact into game .... 222 which is counterpart does its job 1000x better as aa and scout vehicle for Elef (which is must go on 90% of maps with OST) or normal HT to reinforce and heal your army .... after 6+ min mark. when enemy has at or is in progress to make another one or has some infantry with snare it becomes almost useless ... yes sometimes its worthy against greedy Soviet player with forward HQ rush because he lack MP to make at by investing everything on FHQ, shocks, maxims and on reinforce of course but thats simply all .... you compare UNCOMPARABLE ... super early - early mid - late game units ... just WTF? Could be this thread deleted pls? its only feed to stupid players without any sense of game ... thanks

to be fair, i also think the soviet clown car should get mobility nerf once it carry units too

The only problem I have with the flame halftrack is that it can chase down squads on retreat quite well.

Other than that, you have tools to deal with it.

Lay some mines?
UK&Sov have at gun pretty early
USF you need to tech, but you get at gun or you can use ap rounds from .50

You can also just spread out your blob and push it off with small arms.

please don't talk about counter unit. any unit in early already have counterpart but Can get it in time?.

Other early flame unit was nerf. such as Scout car and UC amour nerf.

bad Idea. they will just soft retreat then continue burning your unit.

I think the issue is that the dmg it does is very high. If you are not paying attention it burns your units soo fast - that's why people consider it OP.

But it's so fragile, I've rarely seen the mines to be lay in the late game as it usually doesn't last that long...

UC actually got an armor buff if you upgrade the wasp on it (or was that reverted??)

imo; scout car with flamer engineers is a lot more oppressive.
